I am just curious what the providers experiences are with what most hobbyists look like and how they act. I'm sure you get a wide range but I'm curious if you get a lot of one particular demographic. Are most young or old? In shape, average, fat or thin? Attractive, average or a below average? Do they seem clean and do they take care of themselves?
Sometimes I read reviews on here and the person is saying they "jumped on top of her" or they tried to do so and so and the provider didnt "seem into it". A lot of wide ranging scores on how the sessions went and I'm wondering if that is just the provider having a bad day or if the hobbyist is a big slob with horrible attitude.
The demographic has a very large scope and that's from my own personal experience. I only see more mature men and out of those men in regard to cleanliness I have not had any problems. The guys I have seen have had exemplary hygiene and have been very decent people who show me respect.
In reference a portion of your final paragraph, .."if that is just the provider having a bad day or if the hobbyist is a big slob with horrible attitude"..., it can be either one of these scenarios, but since the review is written by the hobbyist, we are really not sure of the whole story. Rarely would a hobbyist say "I was rude and tried to shove my finger up her butt but she wasn't into that" in his review.
It really does vary. I have yet to have an encounter with someone who was a "big slob" as you put it, and I wouldnt see a man who was. But age range def. varies. Most of the men I see tend to be very handsome actually and take good care of themselves. Actually there have been several men in the past month that I would date if we had met in another way.
There are so many options available in either direction. The longer you meet new friends the better your chance of meeting someone who may not be exactly what you enjoy.
As every man has his likes and dislikes so do women. If a man has an idea of just how things will be and his expectations fall short more than likely so will the ladies review. We can't read minds and each has their own limitations but i'm sure if this same man did his homework he would have found the perfect fit.
I have never met some "poor slob who jumped on top" as you said and did his doggy deed. I am sure once I have a conversation and express my desires on the phone it is easy to rule out a poor match although I to have had at least one review where I have thought what was he thinking.

But, I will bite and post under an alias because this is my true demographics.
I am very fortunate and what makes my life as an escort extremely pleasurable is -> I seldom get the most prolific posters or reviewers.
Why? Because the guys who are ALWAYS here - talking, discussing and actually dissecting us in every angle and form - are only after the "perfection", the "10 girls".
I really feel sorry for the "10 girls" because they get all the old, out of shape, hairy, smelly and bad breath guys no one wants to spend time with in "real life". The ones who are well versed in acronyms and have fertile imagination. The ones who requires DFK (oh a deal breaker!) and hours of GFE treatment.
These guys only book the very hot girls and spend lots of time on the boards bragging about it and discussing the whoring world non stop. They come up with questions after questions about a subject that is so simple and "supposed" to be passionate and fun -> SEX!
So, the more mature and "non model" girls (like me), will get stuck with the good looking guys between 20 & 40, the ones who don't care about the GFEs or DFKs. They have SOs and a busy life, not much time to research or even spend hours here (or any other board) trying to define the Holy Grail of the Hobby.
They are busy executives, lawyers, IT, consultants, bankers, international travelers etc. They just want to burn some stress doing the nasty. They are nice, polite, groomed and athletic and never book multiple hours or overnights.
They don't look at me with judging eyes, mentally scoring my breasts, thighs, ass or face so they can run home and write a review pointing every of my flaws to their peers.
They are always horny and don't care about reviews, discussions or sex scoring. Most never post anywhere and they always ask me what these funny acronyms means. They read your antics not because they need vital information about how to use their dicks! They read because is entertaining and amusing.
They never haggle rates, are generous if they have a great time and are always on the run, leaving before the end of their appointments. They don't have the need to make "their money worth" or use the girls until the last minute (or past their time).
And they keep me busy, most are repeated clients because they don't have the need to eat every dish offered in the "all you can eat" buffet. They don't need to jump from girl to girl as proof of their sexual prowess. They are more into intense experiences than numbers.

Holy shit...now THAT is an answer. Not to nit-pick but I disagree with two points.
I fit the general bill of the guy who seeks "non-10 girls"...in my mid-40's, in decent shape, generally considered above average in appearance (provided you consider the Wolfman as being average), a busy "exec-type". BUT - I do spend a considerable time looking at the boards, I work 24 hours a day so stealing a few minutes throughout the day is just a diversion for me...and I try to book multiple hour appointments whenever the schedule and pocket allow. My thought on the latter is that I want to really have a GFE experience, including dinner and/or drinks...but I'm willing to pay for it and don't abuse the time.
I don't know if the rest is accurate, but I assume the other providers will chime in on the accuracy and validity.

A review -- that is, a critique -- reveals as much about the person reviewing as the person being reviewed. Maybe more. I'm sure you can agree to that, PCG.
Beyond that, while I could say a lot about what you have to say PCG, I think I'll just let it stand.
What you have just submitted is a "review" of hobbyists -- including a bunch of broad generalizations -- as well as a review of providers who consistently earn 9s and 10s for appearance.
And just as any review that I submit tells you something about ME; the review that you just posted says something about YOU. Actually, it says a lot of things about you.
At a superficial level, you might have used an alias because you thought you were bashing hobbyists.
At a deeper level, you used an alias because you were bashing yourself worse than the worst review anybody ever wrote about you. That sucks because you are a smart lady with a lot of potential.
Potential is for the young, once you reach the northside of your forties, you no longer "have potential". Whatevery potential she ever had, I bet she squandered in her twenties. Now she is old and bitter, lashing out at men who are no longer interested in her.
I can bet the reason she used an alias is to hide that fact that she is probably just another one of those old, has been providers, that are hanging on here for dear life.
Being 44, I tend to prefer 37+ women. The only time I have ever seen a woman under 30 is when she impressed the living crap right out of me. And that's one woman. Even when I was dating, I deliberately avoided women under 30, even when I was under 30 myself.
So we have a difference in perspective that will naturally cause a difference in conclusions.
I think she has potential because she is clearly bright and articulate.
Assuming a woman has the right attitude and approach; I think a 40+ woman can make a hellatiously great provider. Hell, some women don't even start providing until in their 40's. And I know some seriously beautiful 40+ women.
So, having looked at some of her other posts, I think she could likely be a really fantastic provider.
But her demographic data makes no sense. Average age for entering the bar is 30. Average age for an executive of any sort is 51. Most providers deliberately exclude men under a certain age; and they wouldn't be throwing away that money for no reason.
In addition, when you add up her statements describing her client base; I get the impression of a 28-year-old busy CEO married to a beautiful and fertile woman; and he just happens to be cheating on her with prostitutes. But he is super-respectful cums in a hurry, pays extra, and leaves as fast as he can get off.
And I get the impression that this is PCG's preferred modus operandi for clients. When you look at it from the standpoint of being an employer, she is declaring that she wants to be paid overtime rates for working less. Not the kind of work-ethic I demand of my employees.
But I really don't think this can be extrapolated to all providers.
And -- her statements make no sense even looking at myself. I'm a frequent poster. Not generally a top-10 poster overall, but frequent. Yet I'm on the young side of most hobbyists, my reviews reflect respect for the women I have seen, I always pay a bit extra, and I see both 40+ providers and BBWs. So just using myself as an example, I blow her broad assertions about hobbyists out of the water.

John is absolutely correct that the replies tell more about the writer than about the topic.
It also screams out that we are not all here for the same things. I know women who would agree 110% with your description of their own clientel, and they have as much work as they care to. But there are also women who are not interested in seeing those kinds of guys if they can avoid it. And guys who are looking for things you sound loath to provide.
Thats why some women and some guys prefer 15 or 30 min sessions, others prefer overnights. Too bad some of each gender get upset when someone else has a different preference. I know in my case you are not what I seek and that's irrespective of how you look.
Same thing with I-Call. His criteria as written in his post differ from what's important to me. I find many sub-25 9s & 10s (in looks) play to their strenghts (young, hot body) and have not developed other attributes. While I care about looks it isn't the most important thing to me.

I was wondering if providers had to put up with guys like this, although it's quite probably he's a standard internet tough guy who is quite demure in person. I would guess a guy like this would pay the money for a "10 girl" to fluff his ego and keep him above water.
But then you have the guys who are paying for the "10 girl" because hey, it's a physical need with a heavy emphasis on the aesthetic beauty of a person. Of course 10 is a relative term, based on what the individual prefers.
Wooowwwwww mine vary from white guys, arab guys, indo-asian, black american, i've met an african from every african country almost, Hispanic, every mix, age as young as 20 to 65. Every body type. Looks wise I'd say only about 10% I've saw and said to myself DAMN he's sexy or mmmmmm he's kinda cute. Now I don't think it's bad or wrong to say if a guy is more attractive it's a lot easier for me to get into and enjoy it. Most thank goodness are pretty in tune with taking care of their hygiene either before seeing me or take care of it as soon as they come in my door before we get started. And most are pretty cool because a good amount of the people I see I consider regulars.
