TER General Board

There is some rationale....

Quick question - Why would a provider offer links on her website to her TER reviews if they are all really bad? Not just one or two but a bunch.

Because they are banking on the fact that no one will actually double check and actually read the reviews.

Why wouldn't she when your research has shown that there are already a bunch of people willing to pay for her time.

seems this is a very common question as of late. I just posted a response to this same question on the Chicago board (where I've been hibernating lately). See the link below...there are real reasons, besides being awfully dumb, to posting links to less than stellar reviews...

It's a requirement to place an ad on TER that the provider link either to her reviews, or to a website that includes a TER emblem that links back to TER.  While her reviews may be bad, she most likely views that advertising here helps her business.  Besides, we talk all the time that some guy has picked a provider that another wouldn't touch with the proverbial 10 ft pole.  In other words, someone will pay to fuck anybody.

GUIDELINES FOR AD POSTINGS:

Provider ad posts (and ISO replies) must include a link to either your personal website, your TER review profile, or directly to your ad on an escort mall.  This means that EVERY ad post, in order to be posted, MUST list one of the above three types of links in the "Link URL" field when creating the post. If the "Link URL" field is left blank, the ad post will not be approved.

That was the most logical reason
and makes the most sense to me.

Presumably there are lots of people who are not TER members, because they figure they can just see if someone is reviewed and that's good enough to know (a) they will not get arrested and (b) the provider has a lot of visitors...  So basically the cheap people.  I personally can't see it would be very fun to attract penny-pinchers as customers, but there you have it.

You have to wonder how many people are driven to getting VIP after guessing wrongly based only on number of reviews.

The provider may not even be a TER member herself.  She banks on the ad venues...  horny guys read the ad.  If they click on the link, they can just see there are reviews...  not even read the basics anymore.  So they book with her, get crappy service THEN join here & write yet another poor service review.
This is whyone really needs to do complete research & that includes complete reviews.

I stand corrected.  You can see the General part of a review.

Cityvibe does this automatically. If you place an ad on CV and not CV services, they have a script that will add the link to your TER reviews. I also heard that it is done manually, who knows.
