OK...so if I get a PM from someone, asking questions about a review I made, and when I try to check his [ hers?] board history and I can not find any board in which a post had been made with his handle and he has no reviews ..is there any way to discover how long he has been a member?

I understand your apprehension, I rarely respond with any relevant information to an unknown PM either. You never know who is on the other end of an email or PM. Caution is a good thing.

I am sure you will make the right choice.

The only times I've responded to inquiries is from guys, that have seen, who made multiple reviews over at least a year's span. And, even then I'm careful about not revealing information that would reveal the ladies location or identity, only my personal experience of my time with her.

I will not pass on any information that is not on the lady's website or profile, and will not pass on opinion or comment that I would not be comfortable putting in a review, with the exception that I am willing to amplify my review or address specific questions that do not impinge on the lady's privacy.

I would not reply to a unknown member...  anyone can join, pay a fee.  LE, a competitor, maybe her family member...  or yours?

If I did respond, you must protect her security.  Never reveal location, nor even the exact community.  You can state that your review is correct.  You can state her pictures are accurate.  If her web site is accurate refer them there.

Pretty much I handle things the same way...The purpose of my question was really not about sharing info, but was there a way to determine if a PM was someone who just got an account. I have been receiving lots of questions about a lady from unknowns and I know she [ like so many] has a stalker.  It sounds like there is no way to determine someones TER tenure if they have never posted a review or comment on a board.

PM about a provider are realatively rare.  Several about the same provider...  This is totally a horse of a different color!  This situation has a big red flag & shooting off fireworks.
The circumstance would make a prudent person suspect that some person or persons are trying to get private information / breach her security.
If you did happen to repeat what was in your review, that should do no harm.  Likewise she controls what information is on her web site, for her best protection.
I would be uncomfortable with repeated queries from unknown people.  I would discretely inform the provider of these queries.  She may decide to take steps to further protect herself...  So long as you do not expect any "rewards" for doing the right thing, everything will be good.

I once noticed a mistake in a lady's ad...  which revealed her location...  I emailed her & the ad was corrected immediately.  She understood the danger I saw.

please do not share any info with aliases, those with no posting history, no board presence, no reviews, and/or no whitelists.  These are all folks that we have no way of knowing who they really are.  They could be LE or dangerous guys listed on a DNS list as such.

If you deem the guy "safe" and do choose to share info, as others already stated, please do not share anything that is not already on our website or profile, including telephone numbers (in some cases ladies do not advertise it), location info, and identifying facial features and/or tatoos, etc., especially if she blurs her face and tatoos in her pics.

This is MOST ESPECIALLY TRUE IF YOU KNOW THE LADY IS BEING STALKED!!!!   Please use prudence in such a circumstance!  I fear it may be vital for this womans safety and wellbeing.  I was stalked in my civie life.  It is a horrifying experience and I would not wish it upon my worst enemy.  Please please be careful in what you share, OP!!  If these people contacting you have no board presence, I would urge you to think twice about sharing any type of info with them about this particular lady.

Just my perspective!  Thank you!   Belinda

asking this question?  Wow!

I get PM's about ladies I've reviewed.  If I can find no history, on TER, and NO reviews, they get no reply....Period!  I don't care if they have been a lurker for 10 years.  No reviews, no replies.  If I know the person, have communicated before (ie. GaG), that's different. The rest of the goofballs who see no reason to post reviews, have no reason to PM me!

I must be totally incapable of crafting a simple question. I appreciate the responses, but trust me...I absolutely know what info is appropriate to share and to who.  All I wanted to know is if there was a way to determine how long someone was a TER member with a mail account  if they had no board post or reviews.

No matter how long ago an account was created, if a member has never posted even a single post or review, does it really matter how long ago the account was created. He/she is just as much an unknown even if the account was created years ago.

Just something else to consider.....
