I think the threads were pulled because they mentioned (outed) specific reviewers.

I have had this happen once and it really was purely accidental. It wasn't with a client, however, it was with a boyfriend. At least two of the reviews mentioned have been deleted and when I search the reviewer, he exists but has no reviews at all. (I had PMed the detailed info to others which is how I "remembered" the names, TER IDs and so on. It was still in my email.)

Part of the NY board discussion was about whether or not the reviews should have been approved or not or allowed to remain or not. One line of opinion was that if a provider confirmed someone via TER PM and then read their reviews it would warn them about that guy's behavior, or potential behavior.

Now, it looks like the slate has been wiped clean for that guy and he basically has a "clean" TER handle.
