I was looking at a review for a massage provider and saw a service level of "9".  

When I scrolled down to services offered there were NONE of the things on her menu you would normally associate with that rating EXCEPT - start with a 7, add 1 for "truly bi" (wtf ? - for a MASSAGE ?)

I challenge you to find a provider who, under two girl action is anything other than "don't know", or "truly bi" - the field has become meaningless.

In theory, a massage only provider, gaming the system this way, with NO penetrative sex whatsoever, could qualify for a 9 rating, which is absurd, if she deigned to kiss you.

This seems to be an ongoing topic, but it is reviewers, not providers, who assign ratings, and it is the same reviewers (or at least the first reviewer) who supply profile information, including services provided.

I know several providers who don't offer FS but routinely score 8s, 9s, and even 10s.  They do have on their menus, and deliver, "kisses with tongue", "really bi", and "more than one guy". Some offer BBBJ. But some don't--just CBJs.

So they aren't gaming the system. They're offering what's on their menus. And by TER's rules, they're eligible for an 8, or 9, or even a 10. With no FS.

Recall what a 9 means: "forgot it was a service". And a 10: "once in a lifetime". Nothing about "must include FS" there.

Over the years I've seen a few of these non-FS providers who get lots of 8s to 10s. You know what? I found that they deserve those scores, based on TER's system. They're really really good at what they do.  Some were "really hot".  With a few of them, I "forgot it was a service".  And there were a couple of them who delivered what I thought was a "once in a lifetime" experience (much different kind of experience in each case).

Until TER's scoring is changed to say, "You have to offer FS to get a score higher than X" (fill in the X with whatever you think the top score should be for a non-FS provider), these kinds of scores are legit.

The fact that the reviewers write the reviews is, yes, obvious.  This does not mean hookers can't (and do) game the system in numerous ways.  But thanks for pointing out the obvious.  Hey.  That's just your job.  And I do get (or hope I do) that what you really meant is reviewers are far too often weak-willed pussies.  I have been known to wilt at times myself if she's hot as fuck.

Nor do I think the text of my review implied that (the first post in this thread however, did).  What I was getting at is that the "two girls" = really bi has become the defacto standard entry for the first reviewer and unfortunately, is not one that is easily changed by requesting modification.  In the first reviewer's case, having been told she "absolutely does not work with another girl", I would have filed a problem report on her profile, thus obviating her eligibility for a 9 score.

That said, I guess the jist of my argument was/is that the two girls field is really no longer a predictive indicator of anything having to do with "I forgot it was a service" - and leads to score inflation.  If I were granted plenipotentiary power, I would probably use the female condom field as the final arbiter between 9's and 10's - as it most reflects the girlfriend experience in today's world.  When I started some 8 years ago, 8's were the norm, 9's were special, and 10's were truly reserved for that top 5 percent.  Now it seems that 9's have become the norm, and 10's while not common, are a larger percentage of the whole.

And I agree with you that much of this is lily livered or starstruck reviewers.  I only gave my first 10/10 this year, and I never write the review immediately after the session - too many hormones and afterglow effects clouding my judgement

The way things used to be was that you had to DFK for a 7, BBBJ for an 8, and then greek and other stuff for higher numbers.  I got my first 10 with a regular client who started doing reviews so he wouldn't have to give out all his private info. I helped him onto date-check etc as it was my first time too.  I had to BBBJ, show the end result in a bubble and swallow.  I really think this rating game is weird as he would only take 10mins of my hour but I got lower ratings with guys who want the old fashioned way after spending 2-3 hrs with me.  I provided them a hotter time.

Does TER give higher ratings for scarves, toys and other misc items?
