Shut it down, dude...

After I got home from Vegas on Sunday, I brought back a nasty case of flu, which was exacerbated by extremely bad weather in NYC this week.  Visited the Dr. yesterday, got an RX for Tamiflu...fever broken, cough and other respiratory symptoms retreating.  As far as hobbying goes, shut down until next week.

That being said, do us all a favor, and refrain from hobbying while you let the cold play out...

I had an appointment with a lady that I really wanted to see over the holidays

We had made the appointment about a month ahead of time and I was anticipating it the entire month. The initial reason I was in town was to visit with my Dad and Step Mom for the holidays. My Step Mom had a nasty cold when I arrived, which I then got. I had to cancel my appointment along with my hotel reservation, it's simply the right thing to do. She doesn't deserve to suffer through a nasty cold just because I'm horny and crawling with anticipation.  

How would you feel if the lady were to go ahead with the appointment and get you sick? Do unto others...
