Hello All,

I would love to know what you guys look for in a provider's website when you visit it...

Do you prefer it to be simple?
Kept up to date or static?

Most importantly - what ' hero' photos do you look for?

Thanks!

Keep it reasonably simple. I look at the pictures first. If I go to see the lady and her pics don't match her web site (in a bad way), then I probably won't be coming back. I can understand blocking the face, but I'd like a good look at your ass, your boobs, your abs and you legs.

Then the rates/etiquette/intro page and then contact.

Thank you.

I agree ... photos MUST match the girl.

1) Look at her gallery, noting how recent the photos are.  If I like what I see...
2) Check her rate.
3) Read reviews, so please put in a link,

I'll review you! Come a little farther north (greensboro, or somewhere in SW Virginia).
PM sent!

I agrees with all the comments. Simplicity - I don't like to have to search for buttons to find pix, rates, reviews, faq, etc, etc.

I like lots of pix, combination of glossy pros, candids, close ups, etc. I like erotic "theme" pic portfolios to click on (for you, it might be various fetish shoots and dom as well as some soft "gfe" evening wear, sensual boudoir, etc.) Even if you need to blur or obscure your face, I'd like close up pix that show your mouth (lips are an underappreciated but important feature) and your hairstyle. Again, I love the glossy aibrushed sexy pro shots - but also appreciate seeing what you REALLY look like with some candids or even cell-phone selfies.

Believe it or not, I've seen many websites that don't even mention WHERE the girl is located. I don't need your street address, but I'd like to know what STATE you are in :-)

I like a short to medium length written introduction that hints at your attitude and the general kind of session you offer. Obviously you are not going to be specific, but for a lot of guys (for instance) affection and kissing is a very big deal that is sometimes not offered, or not enjoyed by the provider - so a storyline that gives clues would be very helpful.

lmost as important as photos, and a section that very few escorts include, is "Services".  By services I mean a list of acronyms, the things you do. This way I don't have to guess or if you have reviews hope that they are accurate. IF all that lines up, then I check the rate. IF it is my range then I check reviews. And guess what part of the review I am most interested in - services offered - but like I said that is not always accurate and many times there are a lot of "don't know" in there. I want to know! I have a much better chance of having a stunning time when my expectations are in line with your boundaries.

I think with this though you open yourself up to trouble. For example - if you list a service that is sexual in nature then it comes across as though that specific service is "on the menu". I try to make it a point on my site to be clear on not exchanging or contracting for anything sexual. I am very protective of this for both myself and my client.

I am a FIRM believer though in the romantic interlude of dates. I am a very sexually charged person and when the connection is there ... its there!

Do you feel there is a way to explain services without being overt?

Very well said. I definitely agree with all of this. Kissing and romance is VERY important to me. I am a HUGE believer in the connection and everyone feeling at ease. This should be FUN right!

Clarence - I did not see a PM. Is that because I am still a basic member? How do we connect?

Yes, if you list a service that is sexual in nature then it is on the menu. That is the whole point!!! Who is kidding who. You are an escort and this is your website. All that mumbo jumbo on escort websites about "this is NOT an offer for prostitution. This is NOT an escort service. Money exchanged is for time and companionship only" is just that - mumbo jumbo. IF you are uncomfortable listing services I understand. Like I said most websites don't do that.

Most of the initial things are those things I would look for in any site. Is it clear and is it well laid out. You would think these are a given but some people still manage to mess it up.

All the basic things that others have mentioned should be clearly identified, location, rates, services, photos, contact details, availability etc. These things don't have to be blatantly spelled out, or just listed like a shopping list, seeing some style is always good but the basic menu structure should allow you to navigate around the site with relative ease. Likewise the photos don't need to be just thrown out there, and blurring faces is fine but something a little more varied than the usual style of gallery shots is always good to see.

What really sets a site above others is when something of the character of the provider comes through, blogs are always nice but not an absolute requirement. If it's the site of someone I'm interested in seeing I want to get some indication of whether I'm going to enjoy spending time with that lady outside of the physical. It's the entirety of the experience I'm looking for. Photographs of a stunning beauty with a list of services that would leave any man trembling won't do a whole lot for me if I feel we'll have nothing to talk about and suspect she's got the personality of this keyboard.

Yes I know there's a huge fantasy element to all of this but that's basically it. My fantasy includes intelligence, personality and character as well as the physical. A site that gives me this is definitely going to keep me interested.

Stick with your instinct and just don't go there. Bad idea. I presume you sell time like most of us. If someone is that dead-set on a list of acronyms, he should stick to legal brothels and ladies who sell sex elsewhere. At the brothels there are menus, and ladies who sell sex have these acronyms on their websites already.

I was thinking that providers could read PMs even if they were not VIP.
Well, in the message I was just kissing up to you and telling you how hot and gorgeous you are (!) and I didn't want the board bullies coming on and calling me a mangina and a white knight. Ima scairt of the bullies, so I hope you appreciate the risk I'm taking here :-)
I was also asking you if you ever came any further north - Greensboro, or anywhere in SW Virginia (I am in Lynchburg). And last, I asked if you catered to a smoking fetish...

So there it is!   :D

Clarence was particularly spot-on about the way some providers don't give any indication as to what city or even state is their home turf.  When I see this, I immediately think that either the provider is a newbie and hasn't RTFM'd with respect to "building a provider website 101", or that she's "willing to travel for the right situation"--which is gonna be something of a creep-me-out thing, especially if the provider is only lightly reviewed.  For all I know, the gal is looking for a sugar daddy, and/or is going to turn out to be a stalker or something.

I hate provider sites that start playing music as soon as they open up!  Some of us guys are looking at these sites late at night while the Mrs. is asleep in the other room or something, y'know?  The last thing we need is for porn-style Muzak to come blaring out of those tinny laptop speakers.

More generally, I understand there's a role for Flash in provider websites.  But let's keep it to a minimum, or maybe even not at all on the welcome page?  And for those who care about such things [nerd alert] HTML5 >> Flash, anytime.

Re list of services offered:  Isn't there a middle ground there?  Something like, "Trips to the Greek Isles are available to repeat friends, with advance notice"?  Or is that just as bad (from a LE perspective) as being more direct?

Also:  I'm sure that some of us have seen provider sites which ask that the prospective client send a "polite, respectful, introductory email" and that "good grammar and spelling do matter".  I respect that, actually, and don't find it all offensive.  It is also a two-way street for me; I'm actually far less likely to contact a lady if her website is replete with horrible spelling and punctuation--even more so if the site makes mention of the provider having an "advanced degree", or that she is "fluent in several languages", etc.

(I know, I know:  "Who cares if she can spell?  We're there to f---, not write a term paper!"  Yes, that's true.  However, consider the term "GFE".  There's no way that any IRL girlfriend of mine would be inarticulate, bordering on near-illiteracy.  While I don't need to see SAT scores from providers, if they are going to claim that that they are well-educated, at least try to fake it a little bit better, y'know?)

Oh yeah, also:  Guys, if you're looking at a supposed "indy" website, check out the "these are some of my friends"/"these are my duo partners" listings.  If you can click through to the friends' sites, and those sites are obviously all using the same template and color scheme, RUN THE OTHER WAY!  You have just stumbled across some sort of agency or other.  If you really value discretion, and would like some additional assurance that you are actually dealing with an indy, do some homework.

If I thought about this longer, I'm sure I could come up with a few more.  Good topic, Aspen.  Go for VIP, it's worth it.  :)

like painting a target on your forehead for LE. It is NOT third party fantasy. Adn even if she have them, it is still no guarantee you or any other will get access to them all. It's her call, just like reviews say she did a,b andc with guy 1 but only did a and b with guy 2 because guy 2 didn't wash his dick. Or is it that you just want to see what she might offer you?

There is a big difference between adding industry acronyms right on your website  near a fee. I am not even taking into consideration of that disclaimer. Leave that out of the picture. If there is a sting going down and cops see a website with a list of sexual services and five others without, they will go for the low hanging fruit. Much easier to print off her rates and services page and traipse that into court than having a website that has nothing on it.

I get that you want to know. In a perfect world we hookers would love clean asses 100% of the time but it's not for any of us. Read reviews or deal with the hookers that have it on their sites and leave the ones that don;t off your list, trust me we won't mind one bit.

Start with what you want a website to do that your ads aren't doing?
Make sure any pixs on the web can be made larger, What good is a pix that lacks detail someone is looking for?
Pixs should highlight your attributes.  There isn't a need to use multiple pixs of the same attribute, pick the BEST ONE.
Stay away from unproven claims: Best in the area; most beautiful; sexy etc.
Whomever looks at your pixs will decide if you are sexy, beautiful HOT...
Do not use dumb-ass words like classy, up-scale.....
Yes, there are ways to use pixs and words to hint at services without explicitly stating them.
One way to weed out what is NOT going to happen is under personal likes and dislikes state that when you see anal in a movie it turns you off. You never watch movies that contain.........
By all means stick with the statement that donations are for your time only!
Look at a lot of websites, note what you like and dislike.
