Bad dream! Any ladies/men find having a separate bed/room/incall location helps?

I've been using 2 phones now for years, and I even separate my work phone number with a separate google voice number so my contract phone number isn't being 'looked up' by people. But now, I'm thinking the idea of separate beds/rooms is starting to become a necessity (changing sheets helps only with cleanliness lol)

I was sleeping with a guy who stayed the night over the weekend. He came to stay-over. Although we didn't have sex in the bed, the last person to have sex in my bed was a regular client who everytime we meet it's off the charts sex...and I hadn't seen him all year long up until last week. I won't lie and say I'm not attracted to my client. I think he's very sexy, is fit and of course the sex part. Well, in my dream I told him I found him attractive, and at which point he walked out the door (it wasn't even my house, weird) and said that since I now find him attractive, he doesn't want to see me again. I actually woke up in tears! mind you...next to this guy who's sleeping over!

He didn't notice, but it scared the shit out of me. I was kinda cold the next morning and was just in shock at the dream I just had. I felt scared and confused, and it was hard to tell it was a dream until about 5 minutes into waking up lol. I thought to myself after that, I have to get a new bed. I can't be having guys over sleeping in the same bed 'transactions' are going down in.  

Has anyone found the same to be true? What sucks is, not only do I not have the money to buy a new bed, but I don't have the space either! Only option is getting another aerobed, inflating and deflating after a client leaves

Yeah two bed definitely makes it easier to keep things clean

I am pro-separation

Even at a girls in call at a hotel,  high volume girls seem to use two beds.  One she sleeps on and another to funk on.  The fuck bed usually has all kinds of stains on it cuz she doesn't want to draw attention by having house keeping come too frequently.  Skid marks, ,blood stains, etc...  Sex beds are nasty come to think of it

That dream is actually a positive, do not fret needlessly over it...

I can understand why you feel upset, but it was not necessarily occasioned by the other man sleeping over.

Rather, it is your better judgment reminding you to watch your heart and emotions with the guy you are infatuating about.  That is to say, reminding you not to get too far over your head with him.

Listen to that voice and you'll be fine.

Having a second bed might only exacerbate the problem.

So you have been fucking a client you really like. And while sleeping with another client, you had a dream that the client you like doesnt want to see you again because he found out you like him? And now you feel the need to switch beds?

This doesn't sound healthy.

You need more physical cues to help keep your identity split?  The guy who was sleeping over- does he know what you do?

If not... It sounds like maybe your dream was about wanting to be with someone who knows the truth.  But that person rejected you, because knowing the truth and a real relationship can't coexist in your mind.

How do you feel about this work generally?

Not for me. I'm a penny pincher and wouldn't dream of ever getting a second room or bed. I invest in laundry detergent and lots of sheets to keep the bed sanitary. Everything is far too expensive these days to splurge like that. Even two phones is a nightmare. It only takes someone going through your purse or accidentally leaving the phone on a counter to get you in trouble. If you remind yourself that this is only a job it will make things pretty simple

Okay, okay, I don't want to get all Montague Ullman here, but...

If I had had that dream (or one similar with different characters in it)--

I'd equate my attraction to the person in the dream to and attraction I have to some aspect of my life that I felt unsure of. Maybe the thrill of a certain lifestyle that I didn't expect to like as much as it turned out I do. I'd consider that the dream might be a way of warning myself that if I allow myself to enjoy it too much, if I let that enjoyment show or be expressed, it might vanish (like good feelings sometimes do), and that then I'd be abandoned by an unfulfilled hope of happiness.

If I considered that waking up with a desire to keep my life in two separate bed was part of thebdream and not just a reaction to it, it would suggest to me that I needed to compartmentalize my feelings about my identity from the thrill aspect of my life. For me it MIGHT be a feeling of: Yes, I see providers for sex, but that's not who I am, really, and I have to keep my identity separate from that aspect of my life, and most importantly I have to keep my "true" identity alive with as much energy as I keep the thrill aspect a secret.

I can't tell you what the dream might mean for you, but I can imagine having a dream like that and this is how I would view it. One thing to remember, the dream character of the client you're attracted to is day residue, and the feelings the dream arouses uses that character as a symbol as you speak to yourself in the dream.

Think: all the people in dreams are disguised aspects of yourself.
