Client shows up for incall.  Screen well, referrals did not mention anything unusual.  He sits down and then tells me he's writing a book or magazine article on escorts.  Wants to know if I will talk to him about the "advertising aspect".  I tell him no way.  He says that's fine and wants to proceed with the appt.  Then he says that he doesn't know how much to pay me because he never looked at my website.

WHAT???

I tell him to leave and he does.  What a waste of my time.  So other than just me knowing this guy is a *&$%#@, is this something that should be reported to other ladies?  He wasn't imminently dangerous, but the entire encounter was strange.

By all means, tell all the other ladies who this guy is. There have been countless posts here and on other boards by people claiming to be reporters, or writers of some sort. They all claim do be doing "research" on escorts. Nobody knows who they really are, or what they are really doing. You don't know who this guy is either, so let the ladies know.

It never ceases to amaze me what sort of stories some guys come up with just to go see a girl with no intention of paying for a session. Do they go jerk off in their cars afterward or what? It's disturbing.

Good screening helps weed out the guys who are up to no good. Take care.

In any case, go back to the providers who gave him a reference and tell them about your experience with him so that they do not give him any more references.

the same issue with the guy, and why didn't they tell you.  It seems strange that he would screen well and then be a bozo.  You never know, he could have been legit, but the time to ask you any questions like that would have been at the end of the session, not the beginning.

I would definitely bring it up on the providers board as well.

That is just very bizarre. I would let others know, either through the Ladies part of the different boards, and or the web site that is geared specifically for us, in listing who is shady, bad or just dangerous. If you dont know the web site that I am talking about send me an email and I will forward you the link. It is a great site that gives ladies the 411 on people that have been blacklisted for various reasons, and what the reasons are.

.... if he screened well is it possible this is just his fantasy gig. Talking can be erotic and exciting on its own and is certainly a good form of foreplay as well. I would check with the references, maybe there was a breakdown in communication.

a book about providers.  (I habr written for magazines and newspapers, but never a book.) I adore professional ladies.  I have had some as patients, some as really good forever friends, and of course I have been a client and fan of others. In my wildest I'm writing a book fantasies, I would never book a date and try to turn it into an interview, no money. I guess if I had to gather information like that, I would book a two hour date with that understanding in advance and full fee to be paid.  This person seems to be a silly phony who gets his kicks being in your presence, but not doing or paying for anything.  If he likes the scene as suggested, he would have laid that out.  I would call the reference and let others know if I were you.

I just wanted to make sure that you did check out the ladies who gave you references. This will be the year from hell for all of us and a very long hot summer to boot. I always check out the providers first before doing anything. If she is not reviewed here by at least one hobbiest with a good track record I don't reply. Please post on the provider board this info and do be careful. This gent knew you were a newbie and an easy mark to setup.

It's not to late to checkout his refrences and see if they are legit themself. do post any info that is not legit about them as well on the provider board.

I'm not on the provider board yet.  His referrals were ladies who had been reviewed on a local board (this was during my travels).  TER isn't well-know there.  Anyway, I did email those ladies and I asked if he had asked them questions for a book on escorts.  One said she couldn't remember what they talked about and the other said that she didn't think it was a big deal.  Sigh.  

I'll warn the ladies of that local board as well as that regional board here.
