Are things so bad that all of a sudden I am getting emails from providers all over the country who are visiting NY/NJ?  I had never heard of and/or contacted any of them before.  So, I'd like to know where and when they get my email address from since I'd like to keep my correspondence limited to what I direct to any girl and my interest in her availability.  Is this a normal situation with anyone else?

I was about to post a similar question. I got an email from "lisainnocence@___.com" (address omitted to protect the maybe innocent) with a link to a really hot looking lady. I responded by asking her if she had any reviews (since I couldn't find any).  Her response was "i don't have reviews because i am new at this, maybe you can give me my first one!!!! haley is taking appointments for me this week you can call her anytime she is great and will take care of you/ 201-723-XXXX." (Number omitted to protect the maybe innocent.) I wrote back and asked "Do you have any references? How did you get my email address?" She responded with "a few of my friends helped me with the email list maybe you know one them or saw one of them if you want i will not email you anymore im sorry" -- and no response to my question about references. I called "Haley" and there was a lot of noise in the background, like there was a lot of talking and other activity, as if there were a lot of folks at desks doing calling. "Haley" asked me for my first and last name, and then the name of my employer ... and at this point, I started asking who she worked for, whether it was an agency, and she got evasive. This screening seemed unusual to me -- for example, there was no request for provider references -- none of this sounded "quite right" so I backed out. I would be interested in knowing whether anyone else has experienced this and how would you react to this scenario? Am I being paranoid for no reason?

bad times in that it seems that the golden rules and protocols seem to be taking a back seat and especially from the newer girls on the scene.  If your email is posted here, you visit with someone that does keep records, if you are posted in a database of any sort, you are at risk for unsolicited emails.

There are many factors IMHO, The economy has something to do with it.  One of the big misnomers is that this biz is recession proof.  In a bad economy there is a flux of new girls that enter the scene to make ends meet for one, and the gents are not apt to play as much if not at all.  

Another factor is the ever changing dynamics of this forum through the internet.  It has become a safer playground, but I do think that because of it people do become a little too complacent about the core risks involved.


This gives a gent a little more responsibility in doing their homework before playing if it is something that you are concerned about.  I have because of incidents such as this gained a few new clients, all of whom stated that they would stick with ladies that have been around a while longer, for they do seem to respect the discretionary needs of the gent more and play by the golden rules that have made the endeavor a safer one all around.

Nope. Just reasonably cautious.  If they are legit ("maybe innocent") then they're doing business in a stupid way.  I'd suspect a ripoff of some kind.  If you had continued the conversation it wouldn't surprise me if they'd gone after your CC number.

Kudos for playing by the proper rules even though they didn't.

I sent a mailing to a lot of guys when I was planning my tour but I'd got their email addresses because they'd emailed me asking if/when I was going to be in the US again.  If you receive unsolicited emails from girls you've never contacted and have no interest in then I'd say ask them to remove you from their mailing list and politely explain their approach was not appreciated.

The telephone conversation described above sounds extremely suspect to me and I think you made a wise decision not to continue the conversation and give our any more personal details.

...I do the same thing providers do when e-mailed with improper questions, suggestions or language.  I delete them.  The only curiosity I have is if they have any presence on boards like TER, and even then these e-mails are still suspect.

It may be a sign of the times that some gals, even legitimate ones, may be trying to stimulate business from clients they may not have seen for some time.  I haven't decided if that would be endearing to me, or upsetting that they were indiscreet enough to retain my information.  Probably the latter.
