but they were honest about it on their site, so I don't consider it deceitful.

It's dumb of someone to do otherwise because you're just going to get a lot of walkaways when they see you.

I like tats myself so not a problem, but some guys have a thing about them.

I agree, they shouldn't hide them, no need to, in my humble opinion.
WTF is this betrayal thing you are yapping about??
Their are some tattooed babes (providers) in this country, that would have you crawling back to your car after a session

I would have ZERO plausible deniability that the photos were of me. It's akin to blurring or cropping our faces. I'd even venture to say that my tattoos would leave me less deniability than my face would. I mean, if I showed my face and the aforementioned hypothetical were to arise, I could at least say "damn...that girl DOES look like me!" as opposed to "wow, what a coincidence...another girl with a tattoo of ****, **** and **** on her ****!"

That said, I have a disclaimer in big bold letters with asterisks and what not on every single one of my ads, not to mention all over my website stating that I have a shit ton of tattoos. Not once have I had a client meet me for the first time and not be aware prior to our date that I'm inked. Not once.

Providers have photos taken of themselves and cover their tattoos with make-up or with photo-shop.  I personally, find this to be the ultimate form of physical betrayal.

How do hobbyists feel when they select a provider that has no tattoos in her photos, and then shows up for an appointment with tattoos?

feeding the trolls is pointless. They can't understand it well enough to truly get it.

This happened to me about a year ago.  But, rather than being put off...I was extremely turned on.  It made the session even more ridiculously sexy.  I've been into chix with tattoos ever since.  I can't tell you exactly why.  It borders on a fetish for me.

I didn't consider it a betrayal on any level.  She needs to protect her ID, period.  To me, as long as the essential shape, level of fitness, weight within +/- 10 lbs, and otherwise is in line with her pics...I'm good.

At the same time, I don't blame you if you prefer other than a nice tatted up lady.  It's one of the beautiful things about this experience....variety.

Just do your research and you shouldn't have any issues.

I don't get the impression that she's trolling, I just don't think the OP was very clear that she was referring to deliberate deception.

I just read that you posted that you are over 45 and interested in being a porn star..

Some of us would never want what we do on video, I will raise my hand as being part of that someone.

Also, some of us are under 45 and don't plan on making this a full time career for life.

I don't feel the need to put my face on the Internet linking to this. I am not only cautious to my brothers, but also to my grandparents and etc. I will blur my tattoos for the same reason. I have never had one person come and say they were upset that I had tattoos or wanted to leave due to that.

My reviews state that and I if anyone reads more than two of my reviews they will know that.

Anyway, you are free to run your business as you do just as everyone else is.

There was a post in the porn section part of TER from someone with the same username as you that was posted on 10/28 asking for advice for a mature lady (over 45) leads to get in to porn. It's no longer on TER (interesting, right?) but the link is still in my cache along with a screenshot that I just took..

That being said, I'm done with this conversation.

As long as it says one, two or more than few somewhere in the ad then I'm fine with it . If not , then I wouldn't be.

If they're afraid a tattoo might reveal their true identity, then blur the tattoo NOT cover it up with make-up or completely photoshop it off the body.
That may work if it's one or two small tattoos, but not when you're as inked as I am. First of all, that would mean blurring a pretty considerable percentage of my skin. I would seriously look like an amputee who got into a fight with the chick from The Ring. It would look completely silly and would detract from everything else in the photo, especially the professional quality. Second, the placement/size of tattoos can be just as identifying as the content. I'd be willing to bet my life savings that I'm the only 5'1", blonde, 24-year-old with a tattoo that's x sq. inches on body part A, y sq. inches on body part B, and so on living in the Greater Cincinnati area.

I can understand the beef if someone is being deliberately dishonest and isn't even mentioning in their ads that they're fully sleeved with a giant chest piece or something, but if we give full disclosure on our ads and websites, what's the problem? I would think that as a provider, you of all people would understand the importance of maintaining our privacy. It shouldn't matter to you what other girls are doing with their photos. The dishonest ones aren't going to be successful anyway (since word will get out that their photos are inaccurate), and the rest are simply trying to maintain a good balance of honest representation/privacy while not completely degrading the quality of their photos...which shouldn't bother you.
