I spend a lot of time on the road, and enjoy performance driving (often driving for hours at triple-digit speeds) I use a lot of anti-radar/lazer equipment, and I don't get tickets...
But this is my favorite high-speed driving song (actually the whole Romeo/Juliette soundtrack is great)
I don't like metal/thrash type music in the car, but rather a type of surreal calming music that has a reckless/risky under-tone.
 Having high-end audio systems in my cars is just as important as the music to me. Powerful, accurate bass that can go deep, combined with a strong acustically haunting vocal reproduction is just as important to me in the conveyance of the emotion of the song as the song it's self...  

The only thing better is driving fast, with the music loud while getting a BBBJ! (WARNING: This only works well in paddle-shift cars!)

Man, I used to love speeding to the Top Gun soundtrack when I was a teenager....of course that was a long time ago.
