Rotterdam, 11-01-2011 • Today, the National Crime Squad has shut down two web sites of escort agencies, for being presumably involved in human trafficking. At the same time, a text message was sent by the police to approximately 1300 cell-phone-numbers that tried to get in contact with escort site www.zuzana.com. The other web site is www.pleasure-escort.nl.


Read the rest of the press release. Not usre I understand th difference between "human trafficking" and the run of the mill agency, but maybe I'm naive, and maybe that's why I avoid agencies on intuition...

Typical agencies involve consenting adults.  Human trafficking involves women forced into prostitution by pimps or underage girls.

I've always had my suspicions about those Thai or other east / southeast Asian agencies operating here in America.   To what extent do all these girls want to be doing this?  Or are they brought here thinking they are going to be "given" a job "modeling" or something, and then find themselves....  Needless to say they would be in a tricky situation because A) likely can't function well on their own in this country, and B) who knows what their visa status , etc, is.
