Is Chat Dead?... it used to be so much fun...now i log on and there is never anyone in there?

Use to have a lot of wonderful ladies and gents that would engage on a nightly basis. Now it's very rarely, if not never anyone in there.

I just decided to try it and I've ventured in there just about every day this week. I've actually chatted with several people local to me and for that it was worth it.

The biggest problem for providers is every time a new message gets sent from someone the window automatically switches to that person. So if you're in the middle of typing something to one person and someone says something to you, half of what you write is in one chat window and the other half is in another. Kind of a pain...

Even if you don't type much you still have to keep clicking on the window of who you want to send a message to...if they could fix that I'm sure more would be on there.

Sorry dude, I dont know you but your subject line reminded me of Abe Simpson's buddy (Jasper?) mumbling/singing "aint like it used to be" by himself..

That is a pain. It happens to me too.
BUT..I just started using it last week too. Now I did have a few off the wall conversations...a few with locals and a few that led to dates. so all in all I would say ter messenger is a wonderful tool for providers.
If I am in more than one chat I pay very close attention now!!
