I spend time with intelligent, interesting older men. Before I started this, men were either kids, my age, a little older, or OLD. As a 20-something, I'd never really have intimate chats w/men 40 and 50 years older than me. I do now, and I'm always learning something new. It has also made me relate better to older people in my personal life (not sexually, but in conversation) and that has actually created some good opportunities.
I like the company of most of my clients. I genuinely look forward to seeing them, and generally, they treat me very well.
I've had some great dates/experiences and hope for more of the same. One of the best was a small, private concert venue in NYC. Another was a winter trip on which I learned to ski.

That's it in a nutshell. I don't get turned on by danger or illegality or risk, quite the opposite. I don't like living a double life, either. I don't do this for the sex, but do enjoy getting it while the getting's hot (not in all cases, but most).
I've only been in it for 3 months, but have enjoyed my time. I was faced with going 6-figures into debt to live in a slum lord apartment while attending grad-school or provide. Now I'm able to pay tuition in-full, put a lil extra into my savings and eat real food for dinner (fuck you ramen, never again!)
95% of my clients are gentleman who are actually really sweet (albeit sexually frustrated) that I enjoy talking too. A lot are really encouraging of my schooling and give good life advice. Even though the arrangements are what they are, it's nice to know that somebody actually cares about your welfare.

in my stripper experience, I've managed to convert a stripper from "why I would never...." to someone asking "when are we gonna do it again?!" in conversations with said strippers, I can tell in about 1-3 lap dances (of the regular type) who will provide and who will bail... but my question to this steamed audience is "what made you decide this was for you?" What keeps you in it? does it excite you?!
In short, do you derive pleasure other than paying the bills?
Ok so in the very beginning I got into this "career" because the money was tempting. Turned out that yes the money is great, and I also enjoy what I do. I like being my own boss, meeting different people and having different experiences. I am not talking about different sexual experiences but life experiences. I have traveled with clients and visited stunning cities and islands, seen some of the best shows, saw an amazing Opera, and plenty more that I feel much gratitude for.
There really is a lifestyle in being a provider and I enjoy it.
