So I have an appointment set up in two days with someone I've been dying to see for a while, and I feel like I'm coming down with a cold. This is a fairly rare trip for her to my city, so it's not like a normal book when feeling better situation.

Should I alert her agency from now? Ignore it and hope I don't actually get a cold? Go see her regardless?

What would you do?

Maybe I worded that poorly? If I actually had a cold, I wouldn't go through with the appointment and risk getting her sick. I was wondering if I should I alert them in advance of knowing for sure or just hope for the best and cancel closer to the appointment time if necessary?

Not the least of which is the fact that is not only the worlds first form of birth control, but a leading reason for the invention of doggie style. lol

It's also one of the habits that Kgirls first need to break after getting "off the boat" as many Koreans love raw garlic and that is one smell that hours of tooth brushing and gallons of mouthwash simply can't wash away. The other thing many Asians need an introduction to upon arriving at our shores is a razor, but that holds more for Chinese women than any others, most of them don't shave except to please American customers. It's rare that any of them have a bush for more than a day or two of coming to America.

Check the agency cancelation policy and use that as a guide to cancel if it looks like it is a cold. In the end, better to cancel even the morning of the appointment if you wake up sick.  Just my preference.

Once from a stripper in Phily and the other time a few months ago from a provider.. I don't blame her for it (the provider).. but I called her and told her that I was positive when I took a strep test (two days after I saw her).. she said.. "Oh I was hoping no one else would catch it".. nice,   it's so easily cured by antibiotics.. I told her that .. she was traveling and said she would see her doctor when she got home.. Huh?

It's not just your breath, but it get into your bloodstream and you can smell it coming out of the pores of your skin. and it's not just the FOB girls.

and for the record, I love the FOB girls and I have no intentions of not seeing them anymore. I just eat a pound of kimchi to "fight back" and a good time can be had by all.

...in 24hrs.
Give it 24hrs but if the symptoms are no better then pretty please with sugar on top cancel.
If you are really sick and make her sick (assuming she's GFE and there def will be kissing) you could put her out of commission for several days (or more) along with probably thousands of dollars gone.

but yeah I have a couple of Korean friends that you can smell the moment they walk in the door from halfway across the room.

Most K girls and Korean women who work in AMPs are coached into changing their diet into something that while still Korean is not so hard on the senses for customers.

sorry, life sucks and then you die, but out of respect for the hobbying community at large, i try not to spread my germs around.  when i'm feeling bad i cancel any dates i have made.

also, imo, how much fun can you have if you're feeling sick?

bear in mind the lady will probably be visiting again someday.

readers of this space know i recently went through major surgery.  before i did i had made tentative plans with a bucket list hottie who was visiting vegas this last week of feb.  i planned to drive to vegas, rent a room and finally meet the woman i had been drooling over for the past 2 years.

alas, the surgery has taken waaaaay more out of me than i thought.  no way could i drive to vegas let alone see the girl.

now my situation is not the same as yours, surgery is not contagious.  but the moral is the same:  my bucket list hottie will revisit vegas in a few months.  if you are lucky your lady will come back your way someday soon.

just my 4 cents.

Being from the South, I am big advocate for everything Garlic. However, I just couldn't pass this on to my beloved client if he ever came down with a cold unless he vowed to take an extra dose of Beano!

Eating a garlic clove every day would sure make for an uncomfortable - if not embarrassing - session!

that I get a Pavlovian hard-on when I walk into a Korean restaurant.

By the way, there is a denatured form of garlic sold in capsule form by a company named Kyolic.  It is their formula 103, and is available on Amazon and various health food stores.  I don't think it can instantly cure a cold however, but since using it every day I get far fewer colds than I used to

The exact same thing happened to me with someone I've seen a lot who was visiting from out of town.  I was coming down with a cold, and then full on cold the night before she was due to fly in, and I told her so.  We had an early am appointment, a duo with someone local no less, and I had to cancel.  Because of her expenses, I paid her 50% of her rate as a cancellation fee, which I thought was fair. Although really didn't like paying something for nothing, she had a lot of expenses and lost out through no fault of her own.  We men have to act like the gentlemen we say we are, and not like sleazy hobbyists that take advantage of women.  Gentlemen ALWAYS will be rewarded by the ladies we treat right. Always.

I had a cold start up 1 day before the appointment. My friend, who sees a lot of backpage providers, said to go forth with the appointment. It was less than 24 hours before so I did not want to have to pay a cancellation fee. Took a bunch of cold medicine that night.

Thankfully I woke up to an email saying that the provider had to go back to NY due to an emergency. whew, dodged a huge bullet! She ended up coming down 3 months later when I was better and we had an awesome appointment.

but that is no reason not to do the right thing. A man is supposed to do the right thing because it's the right thing to do. Your statement reminds me of religion where they assume the ONLY reason to be a good person is to get into heaven. FUCK THAT, do the right thing because it's the right thing to do, not because of some fantasy reward you expect to get someday.

Doing the right thing should be reward enough. If not it's like trying to trick God into letting you into heaven. Kind of dumb when you think about it, isn't it?

Most ladies I have known over the past dozen years let me know beforehand if this is an issue.  You should do the same.

Also, if you think you are coming down with a cold, there are things you can do mitigate.  Megadose on vitamins, Cold-ease and other anti-virals, and get as much sleep as possible.  Also, wash hands and face often to avoid those virus' as much as possible.  Colds suck...they can last for weeks if you aren't taking care of yourself, so do what is necessary.  You will know in a day or so if this is real, or not.  I would hold off until I knew, or had an idea...

If ur canceling for yourself that's cool. But don't do it for her! Ur paying BIG MONEY! She'll get over it! Haha JK

Go to the Dr if u can and find out if it's viral or bacterial. That'll let u know if ur contagious or not.

First of all, ALL colds are viral.  They are caused by what's called a rhinovirus.  Thus there is no medication that can cure one. If they go to your chest they can become bacterial and thus treatable by antibiotics (which, by the way, will have no impact on a rhinovirus).
Either way, a rhinovirus is always contagious, but so is a bacterial infection.
So congratulations, Dallas, 100% of the info you've given here is WRONG.

Another way of looking at it - anyone can do good if there is no cost to it.  You do good because it's what you do and who you are.  There ain't no rewards for that - nor should there be.

Well said, GaG...
