...without wasting my time judging what others do with theirs.  Twenty years ago the internet didn't exist and, for me, an out call was the passenger seat of my car and an in call was whatever alley my designated streetwalker for that night happened to prefer.

When folks refer to prostitution as being the worlds oldest profession they aren't talking about well-reviewd "providers" in four star hotel rooms.  It's still selling and buying sex regardless of the method, the advertising approach, or the venue.  I wouldn't go cruising for streetwalkers nowadays but, honestly, that's simply because the quality just isn't there any more.  

"Ugly side"? OK, what about it strikes you as ugly?  The pimps? OK, I won't disagree but there are pimps and traffickers around in all levels of "the hobby".  Less than attractive women?  LOL, seriously, have you seen some of the girls who post pictures on Back Page or even on their own personal websites?  There is, evidently, someone for everyone...

So what is it about the "ugly side" that makes it ugly?  As I said, I no longer participate in that particular aspect of the hobby but it's never going away...

I have lots of relatives who are gerbils. You got a problem with that?

Some will only select BP gals, or eros gals, or a "private label" that has a web site and that is it... I think that the answer to 1 and 2 is complex.  Women who go the street corner route, either don't know about the internet (or have access to it) or think the street provides them with greater annonymity.  With men?  I think they think the same - BUT there is the possibility that they find greater risk, "danger" with the street variety....  In short, it appeals to their need for greater stimulation.

I browsed another board a few days ago, checked my area and found the guys bragging about hooking up with girls that work the street. They also post and share pictures. And I'm sorry but I was horrified! These girls looked soo....beat up and strung out it was honestly sad!!! They named the area where they picked them up and.... I wasn't raised in the burbs but I would not ever even think of living there. Just wall to wall poverty and addiction. Anyway... I don't want to judge but that whole scene is heartbreaking to me.

I think I've seen that board...makes you think and be grateful for the position (online) we're in.

I was wondering since your executive Vice-President of Programming on WebeTrickinTV and the host of the London Rayne show could you discuss this with one of your producers and bring in a range of sex workers and mental health professionals to discuss this topic sometime in the near future. Perhaps it could be a segement in a series of shows called the psychology of John's. After all television is in need of a venue and a station like WebetrickinTV to discuss relevant issues about commercial sex.
