I like this discussion of movies but I thought it might be interesting to add the sexual twist to it since that's what we talk about here.

One of my favorite sexually oriented scenes from a movie recently is when Hugh Jackman has 60 seconds to break the code of some highly classified company while getting a blowjob and having a gun pointed at his head.  Talk about raising the stakes!

Fear, Risky Business, Angel Heart, Big Easy, Internal Affairs, Flash Dance, Body Heat, Basic Instinct, Fatal Attraction, Wild Orchid, Sliver, Like Water for Chocolate, Breathless, Unfaithful, Disclosure, The Piano, Wild Things, Two Women, Dangerous Liasons, Interview With The Vampire, Boogie Nights, Last Tango in Paris, Bound, Boxing Helena, Lolita, The Lover, Realm of the Senses, Firelight, Blue Velvet. I'm sure there are many more, but each one of these, holds a visual in my mind of Erotica and sensuality, not just sex for sex sake....the guy/guy sensualness in Interview With The Vampire, still sends me over the edge... the raw sex appeal of Sophia Loren in Two women...warms me through and through...and the awakening of Holly Hunter, to her sexuality in The Piano, causes a fire to crawl up my inner thighs...Sea of Love, against the wall, at the store in just a trenchcoat and heels...OMG..!!! A woman of my own heart...(Fanning) Got to go now..Hummm .now where'd I put that vibrator....??? Oh Hell.. who needs it anyway....1 Kegal, 2 Kegal, 3 Kegal, 4 Kegal....Oh Baby....YEH.Cum to Daddy...

Dennis Quaid and .. who the hell was the girl...?  Oh well, it was a sex scene that showed NOTHING - they were clothed, it was in broad daylight and Quaid's hand is out of frame and you just know where it's at and she says "Stop it..." and he says "Stop this... or this...?"

And her face is morfing from one pleasurable pose to another.  Great scene to show that the imagination is the best damn sex organ we have.

You hit almost all of them but you missed one.  The remake of Postman always rings twice. The sex scene between Jack Nicholson and Jessica Lang on the kitchen stove.. Talk about real acting.
Ladies and Gents, there was no visual showing of any male or female genitilia. It was not needed. These two terrific actors conveyed more eroticism in that scene than any porn movie you will ever watch.. I was sweating after I saw it..

They both get me going just thinking of them.  Lisa's scene with the chicken in Angel Heart gave a whole new look to this Cosby girl, One that certainly surprised Bill!  And Kathleen Turner in her role as a high level executive by day and fantasy woman by night.  She acts out a fantasy for a priest by dressing up as a nun, and I'll leave it up to your imagination on what she does for a cop with his billyclub. A most bizarre film, came out in the 80's.  Both films may not be available at your local Blockbuster, but look around, they are both worth it.

The scene in the movie theater.  He slips it through the bottom of the popcorn cup, much to the surprise of his cute date, as she reaches in for a handful, get more than she bargained for! "The bet was, all she had to do was touch my pecker".

Maybe it's because of my tender age at the time, but I remember a movie from the early 60's...And God Created Woman.  It's been remade, but bears little resemblance to the oringinal which starred Bridgitte Bardot..not a particularly attractive gal other than she just oozed sex appeal--don't know if term 'sex kitten' was coined with her in mind or not, but it damn well was applicable.

One to laugh at --- we can't forget Meg Ryan in "When Harry Met Sally".  "I'll have what she's having...."  Never forget that line...

Not the most beautiful actress out there but definitely one of sexiest.  Any woman that could get an ex-husband, Gabriel Byrne, attended her new wedding is simply amazing.

I don't remember the name of the movie, but...  I was never really hot for Sherlyn Fenn (Twin Peaks, etc.)

However, there's a scene burned onto my retinas of her.  She's standing, holding her breast in one hand while gently guiding her lucky scene mate to it with the other hand.  At once subtle and explicit.

And Malena.  Although the fact that you will pine for this woman throughout the movie, when you finally see her naked, well, you've got to see it.

My, what a delicious movie that was! A great adaptation, as the book is a gem.

Though this thread isn't about books, and since someone suggested Interview With A Vampire previously, I thought I'd mention some seriously sexy reads. Anne Rice wrote a number naughty (really, really naughty!) books under the psedonym "Anne Rampling" and another psedonym that escapes me at the moment. And Story of O (the book). Hot, hot, hot!!!

Flashdance, 9 1/2 Weeks, Angel Heart....someone brought it up and it will now take several weeks to get Lisa Bonet out of my fantasies. But I think I'll live!

Absolutely - the scene where William Hurt takes Kathleen Turner (God, she used to be beautiful - now she's a beautiful fat cow)home, and she closes the door in his face.  He turns, and see's her through the window on either side of the door (what are those called, by the way), and the heat is smoldering.  Even before he picks up the chair to throw it through the side window (what is that called, dammit?), you know what's on both of their minds.  He walks through the broken glass, and kisses her passionately.  The rest is left to your imagination.  I get a roaring hardon every time I see this scene.

I am a true librarian with an M.L.S. and all. I currently work as a reference librarian.

Public, academic, corporate?  You've got me interested.

Public. I totally love, love, love my job. I feel so lucky to be able to walk into work each day with a great big smile on my face. I learn a million new things each day. For those of you who don't know, librarians do NOT shelve books or check out books. Furthermore, "true" librarians are required to have master's degrees in Library Science. Lastly, use your local library! The librarians are there to help you with just about anything you can imagine.

My local library is dreadful. The people who answer your questions do all they can to dismiss your query rapidly, rather than actually solve it. The patrons yell at the tops of their voices; the noise is incredible, the local newspaper journalists actually CONDUCT INTERVIEWS in the middle of the reading areas, the stacks, the main floor. The collections are consistently missing or mis-shelved. They do more business in two-day video rentals than in books; and they don't keep newspapers for more than ONE DAY.

You'd think, wow, what a dreadful victim of underfunding, right? No, they're currently building a 10-million dollar new facility. They are FULL of money. My grandmother gave then 10 thousand dollars in her will. They just don't know how to spend it, they're so busy becoming a "hip hyper cyber multi media experience." Where are the books and the readers ...

And they won't let me give the hot librarians facials, either. I asked.
