Stop using yahoo mail....Make new account on Gmail or other ones.

I use yahoo mail exclusively to communicate with providers.  Lately it has not been allowing me to delete.  For obvious reasons I need to frequently delete.  Went to yahoo help chat.  They confirmed and were able to duplicate the problem by going into my inbox, but could not fix.  Said they would send to engineering to fix.

You can imagine what has been said in these emails.

Should I be concerned?

When I was in London an article came out discussing some of the issues that yahoo email has. They are not the only ones though; Gmail and Outlook have had some security issues. There are a few secure email providers that I have asked my clients to switch to like Proton Mail. Check it out.

based on the contents of your communications.
one good reason not to mention Benjamin in print

I could write I want to pee down your throat  (I'd never do that !!!)
and fuck your ass until the cows come home ... two consenting adults ... but say anything about p4p? ... I'd be worried.

LESSONS LEARNED for everyone. Never invite Benjamin along on
your email. Regardless of Gmail, hot mail, anything. I reserve  that  chatter for when we meet f2f during down time between courses when we both know we want to see each other again.

Hey, what do I know

Tutanota is based out of Germany, and the EU is much tighter on privacy. They offer encryption on the emails as well, but I don't use it. I just delete most things.
I try not to say anything too incriminating, either

While my email is secure, I know how easy it is to hack the average person's account. And also, how careless, ignorant, and lazy some people are about passwords and security.

I just got an email a few days ago from a well-known, very established provider in another area. We'd exchanged references once, so I was on her contact list. Anyway, her account had gotten hacked and I received some odd messages.

Since I was outed a few years back, I'd prefer that NOTHING be put into writing concerning activities I engage in with clients. That advice about saying nothing in an email you wouldn't print on the back of a postcard is 100% valid.

I have a pretty good idea that MY emails won't be read... but I don't know about his. He might mistakenly leave his account open at work, or home... that could leave both of us vulnerable.

I always say, let's keep it clean until we see each other in person

Advice. I have NEVER mentioned money in an email to a provider or booker.  If I need clarification on anything to do with the donation (extended sessions, advertised specials, etc.), it's by text or phone call only.  As you point out, if there's no mention of money, who's to say you didn't just get REALLY lucky on eharmony or match.com?

Years ago, I had a problem with my hobby account. I created another free account with the same service to talk about rainbows and kittens and football and pizza and tried to reproduce the problem ... which I did. I asked their help desk for help on the safe account and the solution worked on the hobby account, too.

As I recall, I used a different computer (IP address; hardware ID; etc) for the safe account so they couldn't just match things up that way. I abandoned the safe account soon after.

Concerned? Tricky ... on a privacy level, employees of big companies are supposed to respect privacy and the company can get in trouble for an employee's actions. On a personal level, some employee might think that they are obligated to report suspicious activity to their employer or even take things into their own hands and go outside the organization. But for normal P4P, a misdemeanor? Would cyber-LE waste their time?

Personally I am not so paranoid and I mention money in emails and texts all the time. I am just surprised to see someone who is afraid to mention something in an email but has no problem mentioning it in a text. What the heck is the difference?
Hopefully you are not serious and this is just one of your sarcastic posts.

I'm not paranoid... but I am careful. And I know most women appreciate my comments and careful considerations. In fact,
some demand it ...lol

Disposable burner phone. No account to trace. Can't do emojis with my CF, but I'll really don't give a shit. She'll get over it or get replaced.
