Would you have any problems with seeing providers that have reviews from guys that also have reviewed TS providers. For some reason it sleeves me out.

This was discussed a couple of monthes ago and your and my opinion was mostly in the minority. But if I saw in a review where somebody I wanted to see had just seen a guy that frequented TS providers........I will (and have) back off.

the providers that have reviews from guys who have not reviewed any TS providers, never visit TS providers?  Not ever provider visit results into a review, and certainly the ratio is lot lower for guys who visit TS providers.

Why the heck would you care anyway, as long as you use protection.

Granted, I would think that most men who are into TS providers are going to see strictly TS providers, and most guys into cisgendered women are going to see strictly cisgendered women. I would bet that if you have seen at least 10 providers in your life, there is a TS connection in that group. Like I said, it's just part of the game.

While that is a point...gay men very, very rarely see TS providers. In fact, it's pretty unheard of. Most of the men who see TS providers are straight. I tend to agree with Dan Savage's theory on why that is, which is essentially that those men are curious about, or turned on by dick, not men. In other words, the men who see TS clients want a dick, but one that's not attached to a man or anything resembling masculinity.

Granted, getting with a TS provider may be a stepping stone for some, i.e. they may start with just dick and move on to men. But I don't think that makes up a majority of that population of men. Furthermore, if a man who has seen well reviewed TS providers, one who did his research and one who was smart and careful is typically not the type who would forgo being cautious and careful when and if he wanted to experiment with other men.

So while I agree that being aware and cognizant of the risks is always important, in this case, I don't think they're quite as high as you think they are.

I would NOT see a gentleman who has seen TS's.  I'm a very 'vanilla' girl myself, and that's just too odd.

It funny, right around the corner, less than a quarter mile from the world famous Del Rey in Costa Rica, there a bunch of Tranny SW's. Let's follow this through logically. You are now screening based on the premise that to see a lady she needs to only see people you are okay with, and those people also need to only see people you are okay with?

But why you would go out of your way to find out as much as you can about the sex partners of a provider's sex partners (and if she is establised, I think it is safe to assume that encompasses a large number of people - 20 clients who each saw 20 providers gets us to 400, and that is not even a good month for a working lady)? The science is there to back it up.  First of all, receiving anal sex unprotected is by far the easiest way to get something.  In Europe, they use suppositories, which are drugs that are taken by sticking them up the rectum.  Why?  Because the tissue in the rectal cavity is some of the most absorptive tissue in the human body.  You can get something into your bloodstream much more efficiently than taking it orally.

It goes to follow that if you are having unprotected anal sex, you are risking getting everything the partner has.  And that's to say nothing about the anal bleeding that occurs when the tissue there is ripped.

And there are plenty of stories about gay men being very promiscuous.  As a friend of mine in finance said, men are like the gas pedal, and women are like the brakes.  Men are pushing to get further, while women are saying, "Hold on...let's go more slowly."  Two men?  All gas pedal, no brakes.

But I submit that this is entirely a result of an assumption that TSs behave like gay men.

I have heard of just crazy hookup unprotected sex with total strangers in gay bars.  Of course, that's hearsay, too.  I've never been to a gay bar, so that's secondhand information...at best.

Between seeing someone who you know has had direct contact with TS providers or TSs, and assuming (correctly) that they might have had indirect contact through degrees of separation.

If everyone was being "fair"? It would not be the case that every time this question comes up, the majority jump on the wagon claiming that Transgendered providers (or bi-sexual men) are the 'obvious' source of STD's (read that as HIV).

If I saw a provider that I KNEW had BBFS with guys, I wouldn't see her.  Simple as that.
