Hey, every provider has the option (in fact the right) to entertain who they choose, or who they choose not to. No argument there.  

I work in southern Louisiana quite a bit and see this requirement quite often from the providers. In the Deep South, many women were brought up by their parents to "stay with their own kind." Simple answer in the south.

When just as many black and hispanic providers indicate that black men are not welcome, it is pretty stupid to call it racism.

Founded or unfounded, fair or not fair, black men have a very bad reputation in this hobby.

So you think a woman should disregard the reputation black men have earned in the hope that the guy who just contacted her doesn't live up to the stereotype - only to discover too late that she is alone in a room with a man twice her size who does in fact fit the stereotype to the letter?

This hobby is not all sunshine and daisies. I am tired of reading these threads who bash women for painting with a broad brush when the stakes are her life and safety. Her right to be safe trumps your politically correct delusions.

In acknowledging the fact that women who do not see blacks are giving up money they could be making, and combining that the with the obvious fact that we ARE in fact in this business to make money, it seems reasonable to conclude that women must have valid reasons for passing up the opportunity to make money.

Just don't hold your breath waiting on women to line up here to share those reasons. This debate never ends well, and time and again women who step to the plate to explain their reasons invariably get slapped around as racists and other such ad hominem attacks.

And such selectivity is not restricted to black men.  For example, many Korean providers will not see fellow Koreans because their community is fairly tight-knit and they fear being seen by someone they know who will share their secret with others.  And what about providers who will not see men under a certain age because of their immaturity, unpredictability and poor behavior?  Age-ism?  Sure.  But she's within her rights to be secure and comfortable.  The world is not always a nice place, but better to be safe than sorry.

There are plenty of men who won't see women of color, brunettes, Asians, BBW, etc. It doesn't make them bad men, its just their preference. The same rules apply here. Providers can pick and choose whomever they want to spend their time with. End of story

If you are a white hobbyist and you only date white providers does that make you a racist? Or let's say for every 9 white providers you see, must you then date a lady of color? or a latina? or an asian lady?

There is no definitive answer to this!  Personal preference, dick size, pimps, misinformed, overall bad rap, discrimination, whatever, there are as many possibilities as there are ladies who post this.  It is only racist if that is what YOU want to make it.  It is really no different than "men over 35 only" or "no men over 50", and yes I have actually seen that one, and have also seen "I love white boys".  So what!  Some only see men, i.e. no other women or couples.  The fact is everyone has preferences.  Men like certain types of women, women like certain types of men.  What you like may not be the same as what I like.  It is what makes life interesting.  If you are old and someone doesn't like old guys, then find someone who does.  Same if you are black.  There is always a choice, unless you are stupid, then you may be SOL!

As Hotplants said (I also agree with your post), there is no reason that ALL are in the same grouping. There is good and bad in every group.

Yes I do believe it is racist to state that on your website, whether it is meant to be racist or not. However I completely understand why gals put "No (insert race)". If you got 100 rude calls coming from one race and only 1 or 2 were worth the time to meet... it becomes a matter of the gal not wanting to waste her time on the high percentage of time wasters. Putting up the disclaimer saves the gal a lot of time/headaches. There is some gals who have a "no" policy that are still willing to meet respectful, kind gentlemen of that race. I hate racism, however given this type of play, I feel we (all) have a right to chose who we want to see for any reason of our choosing. Pretty sure if us ladies were forced to see people we didn't want to, it wouldn't be freedom of choice. I will not bash a lady on what she chooses to do with her body. We are not required to see every single person that wants to see us.

I chose not to put "No (insert race)" because I am willing to meet good people and I would feel guilty refusing to  meet a good guy based on race. At the same time, in my experiences of who has contacted me, the VAST majority are not ones I will meet. Great black guys are out there, they just never call me lol. I can count on one hand how many I have met in many, many years. Isn't that sad! I prefer my "no idiot" rule, works great! No, I will not make an exception to the nice idiots lol.  

CcityBby... all money is not good money. There comes a point where if a gal is not enjoying herself (in any kind of situation), who the fuck cares about the money? Money must outweigh the headaches involved or it is a no go.

I am NOT saying when a gal puts that on her website she is racist. In general any "No (race)', no matter where put (ie housing, jobs etc), it is racist. There is too many unknowns of why a gal chooses to put it up and no one can assume why. It isn't anyone's business but her own. When body comes into play, it is far more complicated than black and white perception of the matter.
