And, no, I'm not saying who it was until I hear from her and see what she says.  Here's what went down.  
1) I'd been on a very hot-looking gal's web site and really liked her pix and reviews.  Only 7 reviews but universally raves.  Saw she was touring through the area and would be nearby today.  In the late morning I contacted her through her web site and via PM on another board.  Said I'd like to see her between 2 and 6, and provided all the usual screening info.
2) Just after noon I got a PM back suggesting a 6:00 PM date, telling me the town (but not the hotel) where her incall was.  I said that would be fine and asked her to give me the hotel name and her cell # so I could contact her for the room # upon arrival.  No response.
3) Now it's 4:30 and I'm about an hour's drive away.  I PM her again saying "Getting nervous" and explaining I needed to get confirmation and the info above.  No response.
4) At 5:00 I decide to roll the dice and drive toward the town where she was.  I send a final e-mail telling her I was on my way and would need a call-back with her info.  I included my cell #.
5) At 6:00 I was close but turned off the highway, filled my tank and waited briefly for a call before turning back.
6) Got home and sent her a note saying, "Sorry we didn't connect" and telling her I'd driven nearly all the way to her before the appointed time was reached and I turned back.  Asked her to let me know if we should try another time.  If I don't hear from her, or get a bad response I may inform folks about her, but maybe not.  She does have a good, though minimal, rep and I don't want to get into a pissing contest.
C'est la vie, I guess.
PS: At no time did I mention any sexual act or her donation, which I'd gotten from her site.  Never even made a clothing request.

I agree that theres no point in getting into a pissing match. If she doesn't give you a good reason by today, Might be best to just warn the guys you know, and move on instead of blasting her online.  She is either in a big emergency (doubtful) or just being irresponsible. (more likely).
I'd hold of on outing her until theres sufficient evidence. This gives her the benefit of the doubt and prevents you and her from doing something both of you might regret. Plus, Irresponsible girls like that might even put the client on a black list, calling YOU the time waster or a no show, lol

Please do not get offended by what I have to say. Even though (#2) you got a PM back with a confirmation and a general area, your mistake was assuming that the appointment was finalized. You responded and you requested her specific location and her phone number, and she didn't responded. So, you drove to the general area hoping she will contact you before 6:00, which is your other mistake.

Okay inicky46. I for one would have given up if the provider didn't give me the specific location and her telephone number. Those two pieces of information will confirm that she will follow through her appointment. You've went on a wild goose chase, which no concrete evidence to solidify your appointment.

It is not good to justify your actions and your intentions to inform other people of your failed appointments. Stuff like this happens all the time. However, it was you that lead yourself down, and not her. As mentioned previously, she never gave you her specific address or her phone number, which are two concrete clues to solidify the appointment because you can just call her to confirm it. I don't take these types of chances, I need to know her incall address and her phone number before I even jump in the shower.

You're right, but here's what you didn't get.  I knew it was a risk when I decided to drive there anyway.  I did it just to see what would happen, with no real expectations.  It was a WTF moment.  When it didn't work out I wasn't even that pissed because I knew it was my risk  to take.  I shared it because I thought it was an interesting story, and it was a first for me.  No biggie.  Still waiting to hear from her.  Not bent out of shape at all. I hope this clarifies things. It was kinda like an experiment.

I, too, have learned the hard way not to make the drive if communication has stopped.

And I wouldn't have even bothered to get ready if I hadn't gotten a confirmation about an hour or more before. You never know why the communication has stopped but it is not a good idea to assume the appointment is still on when you stop hearing from the other person.

It's very typical for guys on here to always assume the provider's reasons (when they aren't known) were petty, selfish or about money. There was a post here recently and the guy posted about a NCNS before he heard from her. And it turned out she had gotten a migraine, took some pain meds and was asleep. Why is it so hard for guys to give providers the benefit of the doubt? Assumptions are always worst case scenarios.

There is no reason to resort to name calling about someone you don't even know. There could be any number of legitimate reasons why she wasn't able to keep the appointment.

I had a guy tonight, after I had screened him, after I had confirmed, after I had gotten ready just stop communicating with me. I have no idea why. Maybe it was something really legitimate. I infortunetly realized I dont handle stress and fast paced anything I get overwhelmed and then do what she did flake . I know it stinks but now I avoid doin the hotel stuff because it can get confusing packing a bag of all the candles massages oils outfits baby wipes. Then scramblin to make the money back youve spent then do appts after, I am not puttin myself or her down but some people just arent cut out for the whole mover and shaker aspect of it an , once she realizes that maybe she l find a better system and try sticking with slow and steady wins the race mindset. I realized if i try and go in for the kill book alot get hotel then every thing seems to get really confusing and I end up makn mistakes like getting confused with all the dif numbers and people.

Normally, I wouldn't make a drive like that if it wasn't confirmed.  I had the time and decided to do it as an experiment, with no expectations.  So I wasn't really surprised or terribly pissed.  But since it had never happened to me before I felt like writing about it.

I'ved had five over the last six years or so.

One was caused by the fact that the gal had an auto accident on her way over to see me.

One was caused by a gal having to be hospitalized for an mental condition for a few days.

The other three I never heard from again and have no idea.

I'm sure it's going to happen again.

It's just part of this hobby.
