If you do give your real name to someone (possibly as a reminder that you have seen them before) do you prefer that thereafter they use your real name, continue to address you by your stage name or does it matter?

and I address others only by their Provider names, even if I know their real names.

I prefer to only use my real name in my 'real' life, having nothing to do with our Lifestyle.

Good question seeker!!!! I always follow the lead of the lady. If she addresses herself by her stage name in e-mails etc then I follow suit, If a lady feels comfortable enough to share her real name and uses it as more than a way to tell her you have seen her before then my guess is it would be ok for the guy to use either.

With my ATF when we are alone I call her by her real name or nickname, when in public, by the stage name she wants me to use but then I revert back to my nickname for her which has nothing to do with her real name.  

That way no slips because I am using the name I use 99% of the time anyway.

Most or many of the providers I see or have seen, have been to my home, met my friends and my daughters.  Those who have are introduced by their Real Names.  Makes it difficult to change from a 'superhero' to real name later on in the friendship or whatever.
As a matter of fact the subject came up over dinner yesterday.
This way if a stranger approaches us in public and uses the stagename it's fairly easy for the lady to say, "no you have mistaken me for someone else" since only a real creep or someone who doesn't know the lady would do such a thing.

ps- While on this topic, ever called out a girls stagename in the throes of passion after you have known her real name for a long long time?  I don't recommend it, it's like calling out another woman's name!  Any other guys have this happen?

You are a wise lady. You must protect your private life at all times.

I think it boils down to a matter of mutual respect. I use an alias only for web site purposes.

I figure that if I am stupid enough to make an appointment with an undercover vice officer posing as an escort, then she is going to find out my real name anyway. I prefer to use my real name because although I am not thrilled with my name , it's mine and I am comfortable with it.

However, I would use the escorts professional name as a matter of respect. Besides, in virtually every case the hobbyist will have no way of knowing the escorts real name unless the escort  chooses to tell him. This is what happened to me once(with a provider who chose not to be reviewed). Even so I continued to address the provider in question by her professional name, until she made it clear she wanted me to address her by her real name.
Now clearly, if she chooses to trust me with information as sensitive as that I intend to remain deserving of that trust.

Furthermore, I plan on treating all other providers I see in the future in the same manner.

I'm not a provider, but what I do (and appears to work for the providers I know):

Stage name in public and in front of her acquaintances (even professional ones). Real name in private.

My ATF gave me her real name after we became friends and we started doing things together beyond business.  I discovered that when I moan her real name as she is about to come she has a more intense orgasm.  She agrees it is better, but normally she would not give out her real name for reasons of privacy and personal security.
