Sometimes even the best efforts fail

I can honestly say I have tried it all! None of it worked and my self esteem couldn't take the failure anymore.  But Since I have entered the hobby, life at home is so much more pleasant!  I get a bit testy when I go without for more than 48 hrs, and used to take it out on my SO.  I now have a beautiful smile on my face all day everyday, I don't bitch all day about being horny and not getting any.  The pressure to make love to me is no longer on my SO's shoulders. I am happy and he even seems much more attracted to me strangely enough.  The improvement in my contentment has multiplied the quality and peacefullness in our family life!

This is not a cure-all.  There is no such thing.  Just plain common sense advice that might help some of you.

And no, I'm not advocating leaving the hobby.  But no harm if your sex life with your SO also improves.

Ironically, I actually found that partaking of the "hobby" actually improved the outlook at the home front. Since I was able to enjoy an outside release now & then (from a fantastic younger lady to boot!), the pressure was off my SO to "perform" as often. And guess what?...we are both happier for it now!

When I did have a SO, I wanted him to try something different with a privoder but he would not. I agree 100% that it would have saved us from the fieghts we had. You are just more relaxed and you don't let the little things get to you as much if you can be with someone different.. WE all need this, to be with someone who makes you feel good.
