I'm less active in the hobby than I was in the past mostly since I now know enough local civilians who are DTF. But I still like to hobby when I travel for work or vacation. Searching for providers on P411, it seems like 90% of the companions there are now hiding their ages in the listings. I understand this works to their benefit, but makes it difficult for us to select companions without a possible surprise when we meet. On top of that, it seems like fewer have web sites, and more are requesting deposits or enhanced screening - even if you have dozens of P411 okays. I know the standard advice is to move on until we find a companion we feel comfortable with. But does anyone else find these changes a little frustrating?

If the pictures (and other information sources) aren't representative of the provider in real time.  It bothers me a lot more when you meet someone who is trying to hide obvious aging and/or health issues. Fortunately, in my experience I have only encountered a couple of those. That said, I have had the pleasure of being with several providers over fifty with physical attributes and attitudes that put many 30 something's to shame.

There is no substitute for experience. I’ve been an entertainer for over two decades. P411 is interesting because they don’t screen for our safety. I believe everything is very frustrating because I can literally survive off my onlyfans & not have to entertain anyone, so no risks.  

If age is hidden,  she's very likely over 35 and if she's been around a number of years, over 45. Younger providers don't hide their age.

does not display her age and weight on her website.  With that said, I will add 10 years and 10 pounds to whatever the representation is and I'm less likely to be disappointed when we meet.   If there is a representation that she has made that turns out to be blatantly false, then I'm justified and walking out without going through with the session.  

I just did a search on p4 for ATL and 22 out of 25 on the first page of results have their age hidden. I agree with the previous post that many younger ladies aren't concerned about hiding their age.

At your rates I would assume you are booked like that. It’s lets you be picky also.

I am really not that picky, but it always blows my mind when guys can't even stumble over the very low bar I have.  LOL  

It used to be the photos were touched up but they looked like the person.  Now you often have no idea.  I generally see mature ladies and  don’t really care about the age if the photo is reasonably accurate.

but what if they aren't lying? what if they are actually 37? would you assume they are 27 or 47? or would it depend on the girl?  
people tell me all the time I look young 20's-but I have no issues with my age at all I didn't know p411 had my age hidden because we verify with our real information. I literally never thought about my weight being a factor- as far as listing it!! so that's a great piece of info!!

Imagine how we feel with all the changes and all the sites require id checks and such.  But I mean, if you like her pics why should age matter?  As long as she’s legal.  Just ask her?!  Lol .. I don’t show my age because you won’t believe it anyways

You look awesome and I'd guess you were no older than about 30, but based on what you said about your age being not believable maybe you're at least 10 years older.  

I don't need to know her real age.  
I don't need or want to know the age that SHE believes she is or passes for.
I want to know an age that *I* can believe she is!

naked for a session, I can usually get within 2-3 years because I know what to look for, but you are right on your challenge, based solely on your photos, I probably wouldn't believe your real age.

Between FOSTA/SESTA and the steep drop in the number of agencies (which often served as the entryway for young, broke ladies to start out in the hobby), it's considerably harder for ladies to start escorting. As someone else noted, there are safer and easier alternatives. The relative lack of new blood means the sellers get to be more selective in terms of safety, opportunity cost, and marketing.
