What provider lies are acceptable to you?

It seems to be conventional wisdom on this board that providers lie to at least some degree. "Lie" may be too strong a word for some things, but not for others. In a job where clients usually look more like Danny DeVito than Johnny Depp, a certain amount of bending of the truth is necessary.

What sort of untruths are acceptable to you? I had one lady tell me that the hotel room she booked for us was $$$, when I knew for a fact it was a third of that price. It didn't matter, and I suspect she was trying to impress upon me the fact that her rate isn't all profit, and she has overhead. I know that, and don't begrudge her a dime of what she charges. Even if what she made was 100% profit, she'd still be worth it.

Another one told me something I knew to be completely false, and it was something that she didn't need to lie about, as it was trivial and had no bearing on anything.  For the life of me, I don't know why she told that lie.  

So what's acceptable to hobbyists here? I'd also be curious to hear from the ladies what they consider to be acceptable bending of the truth.

I'm seriously not going to think about every possible lie I could be told.

So I'll keep it simple.  As long as she doesn't lie about her looks and her services, I don't much care.  I have no idea how many times I've been lied to about the other stuff.  Since I don't really check on her about it, what I don't know doesn't hurt me

Lies, lies, lies.

I recently had a client go a little nuts on me because he caught me in a white lie. Actually, I don't think he cared so much about the lie - it was totally inconsequential - but I think it ruined the illusion, which he wanted to swallow, high heels and all. I thought it was his own fault. HE put me in the position where I HAD to tell a lie, or say flat-out to his face that I just really needed to get away from him. And he was asking for too much (booked a 6-hr and kept nagging me to spend the night for free. If you ever read my posts you know that's my #1 pet peeve).

I'm fairly honest with most dudes...my little white lies mostly have to do with two things: 1) Protecting my privacy, and 2) Getting a time hog to leave me the f*** alone

The worst lie? I told two men a while back I had kids. One booked 4 hours but invited me  to visit *for the day* and told me I could spend the night if I wanted...the other (a real dick) wanted 1-hour but told me 'Don't be a clockwatcher'...I'd have cancelled but he was a board guy. So I mentioned 'babysitter' a few times. Voila... suddenly it was...'Oh, you have to go home now', etc. Tell them you have work to do, you're tired, you have someplace to be...they don't care. But they know not to come between a mom and her kids.  

Another kind of lie I tell, to clients and everyone else alike, is just about me and my life. People think they wanna know the whole story, but they really don't. Truth can be complicated and I try to distill it into a little half-lie that is easier for people to digest. If I actually told them the truth...they probably would think I'm lying. LOL.

No.

I can't imagine doing that. But I don't have kids...so I reserve that story for extreme cases. I'm a decent fibber, but that's just a bit too much of a tangled web for me. I like to keep it CLOSE to the truth, if possible.  

Interestingly tho, I did end up seeing the first guy again a few times (and he was nice), so I kinda wished I hadn't made up that story. But once I did, I was stuck with it. That was last summer and I haven't used that excuse since.

If I cancel same-day, it's because something has made me uncomfortable. If I think you might react badly (read: dangerous)...I might say *I* am sick, but not the "kids". Not necessary to make my excuse any faker than fake...one degree of fake is fine for me.

A few. The lies that I don't like are the lies

that I know are not true to begin with. Unnecessary lies that are designed to prop herself up get on my nerves. For instance, don't tell me that you are a college graduate with a degree in botany and then can't tell me what your State flower is or look at me like I have three eyes when I ask about gene splicing and GMO's.  
Don't brag and tell me how wealthy you are from hooking when you have two roommates, a 10 year old car and were homeless the year before.

Acceptable lies. Little white lies, just a few...........

1. Your real name (don't leave your fingerprints)
2. You tell me my cock is huge (no comment)
3. You tell me that I am your first appointment of the day (very acceptable)
4. You tell me that you had a big "O" (I can usually tell)

You'd be surprised. Even when we're pretty damn obvious what with dropping hints and helping them get dressed - they just won't go!!

As I was handing one guy his coat and umbrella, and made one of those 'I had such a nice time, I have a bottled water if you need it for the train' comments, the dood said to me, 'Well I guess you want me to leave now.' Then he proceeded to sit back down on my couch and put his feet up....

Another one was literally gabbing away as I held the door open for him!

The Level of Education...............

I will be the first to tell you that the DUMBEST people I have ever met have been college graduates.  In fact some have been really educated.  (Lawyers, MBAs, etc.)

With that I have never understood why a woman would think that a degree would somehow make her more SEXUALLY attractive to a man that is PAYING for sex.

Really?  I mean WTF.

So a guy is horny and ready to hand over $300 and he goes oh no I think I will take the one with a college degree instead of the one without.  Who the fuck thinks like that?

Just about all K-girls lie about their age

I suppose they can get away with it since they seem to age very slowly. It seems at certain point, probably menopause, they age very rapidly. But from 20 to 40, their ages are very difficult to tell especially when compared to their western counterparts.

but i mean that in a good way.  providers are like actors (and other entertainers); they lie for a living.

the audience/clients accwpt the lies; suspend their dusbelief.  it's thw implied contract.

why as a client would you expect anything of substance to transact between you and a provider?  in other words, why does  the veracity of what she tells you even matter to the experience?  this is not a place for testing of integrity.  it's just for fun and pleasure.

i assume they all tell me lies, me lies tell me sweet little lies, as fleetwood mac would say.

This is exactly why it's important for us to be conscious of the time

I want the illusion that she wants to be there, that she likes me, for the three hours and then we go our separate ways. To be honest, I'd actually like to have a session once, maybe twice if I like it, where the girl acts like she hates me but knows that she has to get me off (perhaps no acting needed). I know, I'm really bent.

Those instances weren't really about overstaying per se, but OK.

In the examples I gave, most I mentioned knew they were being a pain in the ass and just didn't care. The other was just kind of over-effusive and actually was trying to be nice and accommodating. Just a little...overly nice.

To chat for a while and not realize how much time has gone by...that's kind of normal. No big deal (unless you're ignoring her hints). But it's good to leave a bit sooner than you (and maybe she) want...overstaying can get kind of exhausting for both, and then the girl will remember that feeling when it's time to see you again...she won't look forward to the appt so much. She'll have that 'Yikes, I hope he won't talk my ear off until 3AM' kind of feeling.

If you want some tips on how to get a get a date with a girl, then get her good and mad...I am at your service :-) Hint: One of them was mentioned above. Don't give a time of day, or a place, or a length of date until the day of - then finally answer the girl's questions with '[Shortest Date Here], but don't be a clockwatcher.'

You know what really grinds my gears? Providers who have fake pictures and stats! It then makes you guys call all of us into question, and is insulting to you because they think you won't notice that they're 30lbs heavier and a lot less cute than advertised. There should be a code of honesty when it comes to profiles.
Anything else is the provider prerogative, but it's obvious when what someone is saying it total bs, so general honesty is the best overall policy.

when supposedly everyone just gets yelled at on the forums it's "only P4P" when someone asks about moving to relationships/SDs/exclusivity outside the hobby. I've noticed this seems to happen a lot to you tg_baby. Guys asking for extra time. Now you're saying they want "extra" time. How do you know they just want extra time, or instead want to date you or try to start a relationship?

then again , it comes down to some guy wanting to be exclusive and for the provider to leave the hobby for a 'special' client again? To get married et.al. When it seems most guys in the darn country and world are not happy with their current mates or have no desirable mate of their own. maybe it's because now wife/professional material ladies are more common in the "hobby" than ever before. Can't generalize all the hookers are dumb streetwalkers anymore. So now it looks like many guys are looking into the hobby as potential actually matchmaking/dating/wife searching trials. Heck, it's happened to 2 or 3 of my ATF's already no matter the usual denial. Eloping to exclusivity or whatever LTR.  

I know I'm bringing this up again. But you again mention several instances of guys asking for OTC time after time again so guess I'll play along as we start up this song again. I wonder how common this is to every provider. I get lambasted and advised to "NEVER ask for OTC time" , never ask for elopement et al. but here you are recounting instance after instance of guys hypocritically asking for the big dream over and over again. Then again it's all a universal hypocritical mess this hobby is

Some instances

I usually don't mind most lies from providers. Then can't help but mind if it's from an ATF or some provider dangerously developing having feelings for.

But a few lies here I've encountered , with an ATF or otherwise:

Lady says she likes her house where it's at. Not that super great. 6 months to a year later, when I found out only after she retired she was secretly dating a client who eventually won her in eloped LTR said she wanted to move as her house was on a busy street. Should have been a clear sign to me something drastically changed for her; I should have noticed it then ; only something possibly big as her picking a special client to be civvie with would cause such a drastic change of mind.  

Lady said she didn't have a mercedes later, but I saw it and touched it (it was real and not an invisible James Bond car , hah) in her backyard once, unless there was a boyfriend hiding in her closet or garage the whole time I was there in her smallish house.

Lady said it wasn't a new computer. But I could clearly see it wasn't the old Vista computer, it had Windows 7 and had a fingerprint reader while the old one didn't.

so possibly a lady could lie about their finances to make it lower than it is. Example, this lady liked to make trips at least twice a year to overseas countries for vacations.  

One time my ATF just blurted I was the last client and she felt she didn't have to see anyone else today. Kind of either a misstepped way of making me feel special(more marketing) or she couldn't keep it to herself anymore that she had to admit to me in some way she was no longer low volume as I had know she used to be years earlier. We would usually have our session on a set day, and she would say on the phone "it's 'our' special time".  Which now looking back could have meant the other regulars usually see her on the other days.  

Sometimes the lies indicate the lady is very clever and knows what to do with her life and finances. And keep the client
sympathetic or hooked on her.

Of course there are lies about accidents, colds, slipped foot in shower, to cancel an appointment sometimes 30 minutes before the session, but I usually let those go and have a mental leeway for the provider knowing that she probably ditched my time for a more desired regular. (usually ok with me if its a new provider). just like a "writeoff" of bad accounts

The lies actually do bother me , but I think for a different reason.
I don't like being treated like a fool so when you tell me something that I know is not true it bothers me that u think I am so stupid to believe it.  
For me just tell me the truth, if am not that delusional to think I am the best lover u ever had or I have the biggest cock you have ever seen.  I know I know it's about the fantasy but there are some things u can say or do to make me feel good then tell me stupid lies no one would believe

It's very common. That's why it's so frequently discussed.

It's not a good thing to be asking girls for (because in most cases it's unwelcome), which is why most people advise against it. But I guess it's like cigarettes...everyone knows you shouldn't smoke, but people still do, and think they will be the exception who won't get addicted.

All but two of the guys I mentioned weren't on the boards, as far as I know. So they don't really have frame of reference for 'OTC requests' or 'I've fallen and I can't get up'. They just wanted something, and asked (or pushed) for it. Seems rather obvious to me that it's painfully cliched to think you can see a provider once then kind of 'adopt' her...but men do it all the time, and definitely not just with me.

That would be okay with you?  

As I've said before, the nearest city for me with a good selection of providers is in the next state. If I drove to another state, stayed overnight, then got a cancellation the next morning a couple of hours before our meeting, and had to drive back to my home state, I'd be upset. If I found out I'd be lied to, and I'd been canceled for any reason other than an emergency, I'd be red hot pissed.

Deceitful advertising is a big red flag. If I PM other reviewers and . . .

get information that her age is higher than listed or her body proportions are not consistant with "athletic" or "average" then I will move on.

This is one of the reasons why I will repeat with ladies who I have had a good experience with and not try to see a new provider everytime the itch needs to be taken care of.

Last I checked, being in the Top hooker category means nothing in the real world, so I don't know WHY she would care. I have never even lived in a city that had a Top 100, and I'm certainly not starving, nor have I EVER had to fk 3 plus guys a day.
