I ended up taking cialis 2 days in a row (20 mg each time) and on the second of the two days I had a dull headache, felt listless, and had a soapy/metallic taste in my mouth all day.  While I realize the potential for smart-ass comments here, and would be happy to hear them, I am also curious if anyone with medical training knows if these are common side effects of too much cialis.  I looked on the web and found some info but nothing highlighting these particular side effects.  Thanks.

One side effect of Viagra is, seeing images in blue. I'm thinking, no way, yep, it happened to me.

To help with the taste issue . A lot of antibiotics will cause this . Also you need to monitor your kidneys and liver. Don't know what other meds u take but get a list and work with your pharmacist , changing your diet may be necessary and do you have dryness in the mouth too ?

...and the other ED meds. If you didn't get one the first day that just means you may not have that side effect every time. I always get the headache from Viagra but sometimes it's worse than others. Advil takes care of it for me. I don't know about the taste you had. Possibly the other reply about any other meds you take is correct. Best advice is talk to your doctor.

And if the meds work right your head should ache from the action your getting from your provider !! Think about it , what makes a dick hard ?  

...& doctor says citrus (mentions grapefruit specifically) fruits are contraindicated ( means don't eat/take them together, learned it from my x wife the nurse) when taking ED meds.

The time of taking the meds . And dilute the juices with water if to strong !  

I just gotta stay away from those $20 BP girls.

Grapefruit and grapefruit juice can cause many problems with a wide range of drugs, including the ED drugs.  See the link.

Headache is a common side effect of all ED drugs.  Happens to about 10% with Cialis, and it is dose dependent (the higher the dose, the more likely you are to have the side effect.)  Listlessness, lack of energy, is also a known side effect, as is the metallic taste, although that was much less common.  In most people, the headache only lasts a few hours after taking the dose.  If it happens regularly, just take ibuprofen or something at the same time as the Cialis.
