As the effects of SESTA take hold, it is obvious that the ladies are adapting.  But what about the men?

Seems there is a big push to ProtonMail (encrypted email).  Some ladies are even beginning to say they will only accept inquiries from fellow ProtonMail users.  As a hobbyist, are you planning to change to encrypted email?  Or do you plan to do?

Anything else?  Are any of the hobbyists out there doing anything (new) or changing anything else?  What are the more seasoned providers planning to do?  Appreciate the insight.

For the ladies - if a man changes his email address, what do you prefer?  An email from the old address (giving notice) and then an email from the new address?  Or just an email from the new address?  What's the best way without creating mass chaos?

Lastly - while I am clearly no expert, I have learned the following about ProntonMail that is worth sharing.

".com" websites are defacto controlled by the U.S. gov (in simple terms).  Thus, protonmail.ch is preferred over protonmail.com.  [I am attaching a link below that I learned about from one of the ladies.]

.ch is a domain based in Switzerland.  All .ch info (so they seem to say) is public, and thus everyone should be careful using real names if it means anything to them.

Email Subject Lines.  ProntonMail results with an encrypted email - but the subject line of the email is not encrypted.  So presumably, the subject line should not be revealing.

For me, I'm not sure.  I am reasonably established and screening is not an issue for me.  I am reluctant to change my email address which I've used for some time, but I am looking to learn something here as well.  Thanks.

I have encrypted email but it's not " Protonmail"....it's called Startmail.

that I use is Hushmail
However, encrypted mail is only as good as how you use it.

Unless something happens to P411 or TER as a ‘review’ site...nothing. The local ads were nice, but they weren’t necessary for me at all. The ‘free ad sites’ I didn’t trust anyway. CV and BP always felt sketchy to me. There were countless posts on local boards with a link asking if the woman in the ad was real. If I couldn’t verify her on the two sites I used, she didn’t exist to me anyway. I always used P411 for communication, because the site is more secure than texts or E mails, my profile is there and all my references. No need for anything new, or special. All text was ever used for was directions.

I never spoke about money, or menu options over E mail or text anyway, so I never felt any reason to hide anything I said. Who discusses illegal acts in an E mail, or text anyway? Talking about money or menu options is dumb LOL. That’s what we tell noobs not to do. Anyone doing that isn’t taking the advice experienceed providers and mongers were giving them FOR EVER. Asking if someone is available to get together that week for an hour or two isn’t incriminating.

The only thing this law changes, is how we find each other. It’s how you market yourself and where that is going to change.

Great post with good info and perspective.  Thank you!!!

Question rate dialogue why is that bad? I am paying for companionship... seriously I just had my first email exchange  where rate was discussed because travel is required

Should I bail now?

... And secondly as a hobbyist I am not doing anything differently concerning contact activity.

I spend a lot less time window shopping on the 3 ad boards in my 100 mile radius.

I think the future is going to be the deep/dark web. This last weekend I went on yt and studied many videos.  It appears not to be as scary as I thought. In my younger days you could go to fs sauna etc. get an adult newspaper at the adult bookstore for ads and even take out at a strip joint. Does anyone remember the MIlwaukee girls when they were in town ( southern MN). I'm not too keen on adult newspaper ads too risky. It will be 10 times harder for le on the deep web and maybe we can get these task forces off the hobbyist backs.  Maybe setsa will be better???

careful, but more so now. I would have not known about the new law if it was not for TER.

I’ve already seen 2 providers since FS passes.  Each provider for the first time. One I found while reading the TER new reviews, the other I had been wanting to see for a long time.

So for the mongers who’ve said they’re going to stick to their regulars, it’s not hard to find new providers.

My estimate is that there could be a a few months of 'downtime' after the law is signed and enforcement begins. I use TER for verification and P411 for direct contact (when possible) but I do check sites with advertising to find new ladies. I have a list of favorites but I am always interested in new adventures. I imagine all of these routines could be disrupted. I am confident they'll come back after legal challenges make it clear the law is unenforceable. But that could be many months.

So what I've done is to increase my activity on Twitter (I know it may be censored but it is also very likely it will survive in a muted mode). I've signed up for switter.at -- which I've spent less than 5 minutes using but I figure it may be a like a storm cellar. I made need it some day. And I signed up for a protonmail.ch account (even though I have a free hushmail.com) account. Because, well, it is free and only took 3 minutes to grab one with my name.

And I have started to keep a list of ladies' contact information outside of my hobby phone directory. Before, I just figured I could go to my TER favorites and reviews.

This is kind of like preparing for a forecasted hurricane, filling the gas cans, buying candles, etc. If turns out to be  unnecessary, I am not going to begrudge the time that went into it.

Question, why is the .ch better than the .com with protonmail?

If you check the wiki page on Hushmail you'll see that they have given emails to LE before. Be careful with them. Your info may not be private with them.

I depend on TER almost exclusively for ads and reviews so losing ads was a warning sign that things could get worse. I took  a few steps to go a little more OTR (asked TER to remove all my posts; setup protonmail) and also initiated some proactive screening with providers on my bucket list.

I know this post is for the guys but I wanted to ask a couple questions. I had signed up for proton mail but have yet to make the switch. Do I email everyone in my gmail and give them my new email?  I dont understand what the fuss is because ALL of my communications are VERY vanilla. I only converse about day and time and how long we will meet. I have exclusively used TER and P411. I am a single independent provider of legal age. Do I really need to worry because its been business as usual for me?  I didn't really post very many Ads on TER so that doesn't matter. I went to Slixa which seems to have gone to great lengths to make sure they dont use any buzz words. I feel rather comfortable there .  Im wondering if TER or p411 will go away? Then Id be scrambling. Ive checked out Twitter - Erica Evans @TantraErica but Im still new to figuring it out. I set up SWitter  @TantraErica but Im still learning to drive. I really appreciate all the info sharing so we can figure out how to navigate these changing times. I saved my web-site on word press and found an offshore hosting site just in case. Did I leave anything out?

Got prescreened by a coupla gals for future reference.  Set up a Switter acct (in addition to the Twitter I already had) and just yesterday set up a protonmail email address (though it is .com not .ch) so if anybody is looking for me in anything from gmail, switter, twitter or protonmail.com just @ me at Fridays117 and it'll be me.  (As long as I remember all the different passwords, this is getting confusing!)
Oh, and to whomever has been PMing me here... I let my TER VIP lapse for the time being, contact me at one of the above methods...

Got encrypted mail last year and was using it for new acquaintances. But now that this is happening, I'm going to be using encrypted mail for all exchanges.

I got protonmail, redid my site to more vanilla, and changed my domain to .club

Also joined Switter and trying to be more active on boards.

But, do not use any of the mails out there - hotmail, gmail, yahoo, etc.
Get a good encrypted and out of the US mail - then join Mastodon (where switter.at is). Open source type of thing.
Switter was created for us - mongers and girls. Safe, in Austria, where mongering is legal.

Plus protonmail.com for encrypted email.
As well as my switter.at account

Our websites and internet portals are being shut down or restricted.  We can't be complacent.  Setting up a protonmail account or something similar is prudent.  So is establishing an account on Switter, and setting up VPN access if you haven't already.   This site has already blocked access from US servers, and who knows if further steps will be taken?  Having a set group of ladies to see is a great thing, but what if you still want the option of connecting with new friends?   Considering the changes that have occurred in the past few days, our time may be limited to respond.   Use it wisely if this game means anything to you as it has and now currently exists.  Once FOSTA/SESTA gets enacted into law, who knows where we'll be going?

the major sesta-related change I'm making is masturbating more and downloading more porn.
This whole fucking mess sucks, and I hope the ladies and bookers get their advertising shit together soon.
goddamn congressmen cheat on their wives and pay for hookers, and try to ban sex for the rest of us.
.
Next, they should pass a law requiring women to wear chastity belts, made of unbreakable kryptonite and an unlock code only the government can open.

The problem with mail, encrypted or not, is that the two points must already have come in contact some way in order to even exchange information. Naturally, once the messaging begins, all is encrypted. But how do providers and new hobbyists find each other to begin with in the same manner backpage/craiglist did. I believe the ultimate solution is some sort of  app that uses torrent technology perhaps combined with blockchain to serve the same function backpage/craigslist did. App could be built open source with built-in anonymity and vpn tools. If its decentralized than it is virtually impossible to take down as there is not single point that can be attacked. As all clients/hosts are also servers, taking down any single client/server or group of client/servers won't stop  the system as what has happened with backpage. An example of what I mean is something like popcorn time but with the ability for users to easily upload his/her ad or profile to the swarm. Sorta like crowd sourcing which Map app Waze uses to great effect.  Wish I had the technical chops to create an app like that.

...i'd had protonmail.ch for a few years (about 2.5) and i've been using VPN's to go on hobby sites and other sites as well.
So....really just SEO, signing up to a few smaller "escort mall" sites I had been procrastinating on and building (resurrecting rather) a new website since EscortDesign kicked the bucket and recently got onto a little social media (@[email protected]).

One option is to use TOR browser for everything
Get a secure paid private VPN connection
I have already accessed the TER site from within the US over TOR and now I also have a VPN connection.
Make sure to have a burner phone that you bought for cash and refill will cards that you pay only cash for.
I use Hushed phone service and have several different numbers
use hushmail but may change this.
