The people... no question.  some of the real people I have met - either lived up to or exceeded my expectations (men and women).  some who I have not yet met, I look forward to meeting.

and in general, if you are honest - and sincere you are accepted.  how long?  well, my earliest post was in  2/13/2004 under a different handle.

but hey who is counting.

TER member for 4 years. TER is very entertaining
and theres a lot of traffic so it stays fresh for the most part.

I love the variety and friendly people here the most.

Some posts are serious with the need for heartfelt answers and others funny and just to amuse...Some have pictures and some music.

I posted one on Cheech and Chong, not that i'm a pothead but because I felt the need to smile and laugh and know others feel the same. They by far are one of the funniest pairs of my generation and many will remember them.

I call the TER forums my local newspaper with my morning coffee, afternoon tea and evening nightcap. This is my community and I find a safe haven from what might be unacccepted else where.

I have been a VIP member for a little over a year and posting on this board for a few months now. I love this forum but do spend time on the newbie board as well.

and the people that I hope to meet. I went to my first M&G through a lady that I met by posting on these boards, and met some outstanding people there. I have an upcoming trip, where I have two dates planned. Both ladies are aquaintances from these boards. On the same trip, I'll be meeting one of the guys from TER for coffee. All of this from being active on the boards.

I've been a member here since August 2006, and I don't bother with other sites because this one feeds my addiction just fine.

The short answer, it's the people I've met here that keeps me coming back. While I've never met anyone except the providers face to face, I feel I've made several friends here, both providers and reviewers. TER is the only forum that I'm involved in, where there seems to be a true sense of community. Finally, I've been a member of TER for 1 year this month.

I luv getting email replies from certain ladies,when their not busy!(hint)

This is a lonely hobby.  There is no Apre Ski so to speak in this sport. But with TER, the boards , in the reviews, I can share and re-live the fun.

The negativity of some posters is what I try to avoid in other boards.  The humor is what I enjoy the most.

Since 2006, I think.

I have been impressed with the (in general) intelligence and good sense expressed and by the exhibition of genuine concern I have seen.  I have gotten a number of PMs for medical and other advice and have enjoyed meeting new friends.  Most of all, I have gotten a view into the personalities of a number of providers that has revealed intelligence, humor, and real character.  My list of "anxious to see" ladies has really expanded.

I have been TER addicted for almost a year now.

I don't normally venture to sites other than TER.

I started out by just being OVERWHELMED by the information and titillation here. But I had a great first couple of experiences because of all I learned here. In those first experiences I was looking for ladies via review searches who would meet my needs. Since then, the ladies I have contacted and met with I have seen their posts here on TER first, liked what I "heard" - what they had to say - THEN I looked further via their reviews, websites and went from there. Maybe not the typical experience, but it's been my experience. and I have not been disappointed yet.

I come here for the community I find here. I enjoy the many posts and idea exchanges - I'm still learning! At a more basic level I enjoy the sharing that so often occurs here. It’s much more to me than just an ISO or review board.

I try to avoid the trolls, but it's just like the "real" world. I'm not going to agree with everybody, but I do feel the community spirit here. Some people I agree with so much that when they post it’s worded much better than I could do,  so sometimes I don’t post a reply because a lot of times it would just be - “Ditto for me - what she/he said”!

And so the addiction continues….

The TER forum is an honest rendering of what is on people's minds.  The ladies are willing to share their thoughts as well as the hobbyists.

The reviews is what got me started on TER.  Without this assistance, who knows how much cash I would have wasted.  I come back for the interaction and intelligent thoughts of "most" of the posters, especially the ladies.

The moderated forum keeps most of the low-life out.  

I celebrated my 6th anniversary with TER this month.  Now, for December, I need some ideas of how to celebrate my birthday.

Other reasons I like this place and think of it as a community?

See the post from butterflydust above this one (An aside, very OT, please keep my son in your thoughts) and the responses from a caring community.

AND the one below this one from "friendly client" (hidden benefits of getting too close)

THAT is part of what keeps me comimg back.

I prefer this forum over others I have encountered for several reasons.  First, the moderators seem to be even handed and fair.  You can say what you feel as long as it's not mean spirited or hurtful.  Other sites I have seen always seem to play the White Knight when there is any doubt.

Secondly, for anybody that travels, there is not better source of information.  There are local pockets where using other boards can benefit you but you can't beat TER for useful information to use in hobbying anywhere in the country as a whole.  

I don't go out of my way to meet other guys to compare notes but the guys I have had PM communication with were helpful.  Doing my research, almost every encounter I have had with a lady has been top notch.

I have had my membership almost since the beginning of the site.  It just says prior to 11/2000 in my profile.  There are always new and interesting people participating on the board.  I can't foresee letting my membership lapse even though I don't hobby as much as I used to.

information here has been very helpful and the welcome wagon has been great.  I come back because it's a friendly community and I can always discover new information.  I also like that this site is simple to move around on.  I don't really steer clear of anything here.
