The 22-year-old brunette, who is using the pseudonym of NATALIE DYLAN “for safety reasons,” says the money will pay for her college tuition.

She was introduced to Howard by the owner of a brothel in Nevada, one of two US States where prostitution is legal.

The winner of the auction will get to consummate the relationship at the brothel, where the student's sister already works.

Natalie says: “I don't have a moral dilemma with it.

“We live in a capitalist society. Why shouldn't I be allowed to capitalize on my virginity?”

In case anyone doubts her virginity, she is willing to submit to a polygraph test and a gynaecological exam.

The auction will be launched on Stern’s Sirius radio in San Diego today and conducted on the brothel’s website.

Natalie says her mother - a “conservative” fourth-grade teacher - doesn't approve of the auction “but supports me” and she is prepared for the adverse publicity that the stunt will attract.

“I understand some people may condemn me,” she admits. “But I think this is empowering. I'm using what I have to better myself.”

The girl, who already has a bachelor's degree in women's studies at Sacramento State, wants to study for a master’s in marriage and family therapy.

I'll bet this was Hof's idea, and Stern couldn't resist of course.

About the only thing that would get people's ire up faster over something like this would be to toss in shooting a dog while they are at it.

Oh well, this too shall pass.

Personally, I have never heard of any virgin taking story resulting in anything like a satisfying experience from either party.

What's the big deal?

1)  A 22 year old college student who is virgin? Isn't that kind of like a oxymoron, ...a contradiction of terms?

2) Last virgin I saw was way back while in high school and she wasn't that "pure." She willingly did greek and a terrific Porn-Star quality BBBJNQNS with just about every guy although she was saving herself for marriage!

3) $250,000?!! With that kind of coin you could hobby at least twice a week for 8 years at the rate of 300/hr.  Better yet, get yourself a Ferrari and grab all the free pussy that snuggles up to your car!

4) If she is really a virgin (and I am not saying she is not), then how good at sex can she be? I'd rather get me an experienced MILF, get a case of beer and a couple bottles of Grey Goose Vodka and hold up in some sleezy hotel room all night long and save myself $247,500.

Anyone ever read "Memoirs of a Geisha?"

In weird twisted way, this reminds me of the "auctioning" of a young geisha's virginity.

Btw, great book if you never read it.

22-Year-Old Auctions Off Virginity to Pay for College
Wednesday, September 10, 2008

E-Mail Print Share:

A 22-year-old college grad looking to pay off her student loans will auction off her virginity at Nevada's infamous Moonlight Bunny Ranch, Us magazine reported.

The Sacramento State grad, who uses the pseudonym "Natalie Dylan," told "The Insider" she is "ready for the controversy."

"I don't think auctioning my virginity will solve all my problems, but it will create some financial stability," she said, according to the magazine.

Dylan was turned down by eBay, and shock-jock Howard Stern denied reports he has a hand in the stunt.

"Through this process I'm not just looking for the highest bidder," she said, Us magazine reported. "I'm looking for someone who is a genuine, overall nice person."

Dylan said she is willing to undergo a medical exam, and took a polygraph to prove she is a virgin.

This action will be on a national radio show.  I wonder if federal law could be an issue?

Pardon my ignorance if he's on the other satellite radio station, though I believe they merged recently.  FCC doesn't often bother them, though the indencent and obscene rules are in effect from 10pm to 6am, despite the medium.

I'm sure they can can get around the prostitution thing by saying that for the low, low price of $250,000 a lucky man will get to spend some time with a 22-year old college student who happens to be a virgin....  Money is for time spent only.... LOL!

But they are in effect promoting prostitution across state lines.  I'm not a lawyer but I was wondering in that could be a violation of federal law?  Not that Howard Stern would ever let anything like the law stop him from doing something controversial on this show.

Howard didn't PROMOTE the event at all.  He interviewed the girl, and appeared to be uncomfortable with the situation completely.  For the most part, he was asking if she really knew what she was getting into.

Dennis Hof, on the other hand, was pushing pretty hard.  For the record, the auction will be taking place on the Bunny Ranch website.  I'm still not sure of the legalities of that, but none of it will be on the air, satellite or otherwise.
