I moved to a small town and stopped seeing escorts a while back. Stopped posting on this board some time ago. It didn't help that Trump signed the order to start banning these sites.  Also noticed a metric butt ton of women in America are using Only Fans and webcam sites to make money. Are there more escorts in the field? Fewer? Have prices gone way up, way down?

Any of you forced to get out of the hobby during quarantine? Have any of your favorite girls retired because of it?
For reference I previously saw ladies in NoVA and washington DC. Never ventured up to Maryland.

IMO, it's always been safe enough for users of escort sites, albeit the sites themselves have risk. Especially if you take precautions and use a VPN and Tor to access them. Even when TER shut down USA visibility after FOSTA/SESTA, a VPN easily got you here... and safely.  

I hobby in the general area you mention, and while escorts do come and go, I don't see a huge increase or decrease in number. I think most of us have seen a HUGE increase in escort costs in thee past 2 years, increasing demands for deposits and some pretty ridiculous and unsafe demands for screening info. We've also seen escorts delist in record numbers and implement "no review" policies - taking away our #1 tool for determining whether they are safe and, well, good escorts.  

I took a brief hiatus during quarantine, but since being vaxxed, I've not worried about it and resumed activities. More worrisome to me are the increased rates, deposits and screening demands... if these keep changing apace, I'll just quit for good. I realize that there is a limit to what I will pay/risk for pussy.

Not much has changed due to Covid beyond a temporary shut down.  The biggest change I've noticed in hobbyland is the success of Russian agencies since FOSTA/SESTA wiped out agencies based in USA.  I'm very pleased with the Russian girls: XO Companions and Olita Escorts.  Plenty of new girls replacing those that retire.

biggest challenge for me when it comes to seeing providers.  During 2020, I was actually able to see more providers than I otherwise would have because there was little competition for the times I needed to make my schedule work.  Many ladies were experiencing a slowdown because of worried mongers not coming, so I saw as many as I could to help out.  It may sound selfish, but it worked out really well for me that so many mongers quit seeing providers because they were worried about catching Covid.  I could see virtually anyone I wanted at the TIME I wanted.  Now things are returning to normal and I have tried to book a few times and couldn't get the day/time I needed.  

 
Prices have edged up a little, like they did for most things during Covid.  Implementing all of the recommended hygiene and anti-viral protocols costs money, and working women are not immune from those expenses.  

 
Since you chose to make a political statement within your post, I will take a few lines to expose you as a moron.  Trump never signed an order "banning" any websites.  You are obviously referring to FOSTA/SESTA, which were bipartisan laws passed overwhelmingly by both houses of Congress.  The sitting president is OBLIGED TO either sign it into law, or veto it.  If he vetoed it, there were already enough votes in Congress when it passed to override his veto, so what would be the point in doing so?   Some websites, including TER, thought it prudent to close their US operations from Aprll 2018 to December 2019.  TER was still accessible from other countries, and if you check this board during that window of time, you will find that there was a small cadre of members who continued to post here from offshore, me included.  Meanwhile, there were other sex sites that did not close at all.  So your assertion that websites were "banned" is complete bullshit.  If you are going to make a political statement on THIS board, then you should get your facts straight before you make a fool of yourself as you have done this time. If you want to debate politics, there is a separate discussion board for that, but with your level of knowledge of goings on in D.C., as demonstrated by your idiotic statement, I would not recommend it.  They will eat you alive.  Have you considered that you may have moved to a town that is TOO small?  Lol

Even though I live in a small town in OR, I've been able to maintain seeing my ATF during the pandemic.

We trust each other to disclose any issues (4+ year history) and, fortunately for me, travels to my area a few times a year.

I've had fun times with her in greater frequency in that 4 year period than during my long-gone marriage.

You're correct that just putting that on a website doesn't keep someone from writing a review. However, on TER if the lady's site says "No Review" then they will not approve a review (if they know it) and will take any down if informed and verify on that site.

That's not necessarily correct. I know of a provider who recently had TER remove her profile because she received an honest review which included a low performance score. Nowhere on her personal website does it state a "no review" policy, but she still got it removed anyway.

I have put escorting on hold because business is slowly going downhill (For a lot of reasons). The Hobbyists are being cheap asses.

slowed down or stopped. I've been seeing ladies throughout the "pandemic" up in NY/CT/NJ at the beginning and then down in the DC area after I moved. Of course, some ladies that I wanted to see had stopped working, at least for a while.

I am relatively new to the "hobby" (for the record I hate that term) - 4 years into it. I cannot imagine how it was in the "old days" before the publicly accessible Internet. Things like email and websites make evaluation and communicating so very easy. I can sit here on my couch and search for what I am looking for, read reviews, and contact ladies to setup appointments. The world has changed a lot since the early 90's.

I took a break from the hobby when the pandemic started and didn't start seeing providers again until I was fully vaccinated.  Some of my favorites also took a temporary hiatus too, but eventually returned.  I'm more of a part-time hobbyist these days, so I tend to stick with a relatively small group of providers that I know so I haven't seen very many new providers lately.

When TER went off-line in the US, I still checked this site occasionally using a VPN and was surprised when they decided to go back online in the US.  I still use this site to check reviews and the ad boards, but TER isn't the same as the old days before Fosta/Sesta.
