Something that I realized only very recently. I haven't thought much about "scent," as long as there weren't any that is unpleasant. But I've learned and experienced that individual gals, especially after sex, can leave quite strong and unique scent. (Not perfumes or anything artificial)

Don't know if this is part of the whole pheromone thing, but when I come back to my apt after a session and lay down on my own bed to sleep at night, I can still very much remember and "feel" the scent. It's quite weird (for lack of better word choice), because that same scent gives me kind of comfort and relaxation (like cuddling or feeling of being a protected child) psychologically. When I see a particular provider for the next time, without me being conscious, that scent I think is the first thing that I notice. Very "erotic" and relaxing feeling that lasts for hours later, and is ultimately what makes me crave, even before getting horny sometimes.

I noticed that this one specific lady I've seen couple of times has the most lasting scent. Not sure if I could describe it as "stronger" scent, but I don't know, it always makes the lasting impression and feeling that she's still on my bed next to me. Actually, her scent is probably the only scent I have noticed as scent. I don't remember ever thinking about anyone's particular scent besides hers. She finds it weird that I constantly smell her skin out during the session, but maybe she figured it out. I can't say for 100%, but I feel like a session after DATY or any playing very close to V often makes stronger lasting impression. (It's weird thing to say I know...)

With that being said, I couldn't really find much discussions about scent specifically. I know it was talked about here and there, but the topic still remains mysterious to me.

My brother, you really need to take a shower before you leave that session.  I know you love Miss ATF's lingering scent, nothing's wrong with that.   But other people can smell her as well.  Your girlfriend (perhaps future girlfriend) has a nose like a bloodhound, & she'll pick up Miss ATF's scent  as soon as you walk through the door.  

 If you're doing a lunch session & return to work afterwards, your colleagues may smell her as well.  Miss ATF's scent is also on your clothes.  You'll probably ignore this post, but I'd like to be there when your girlfriend takes one whiff & then asks you where you've been.  Imagine your gf (with short blonde hair) pulling a long brunette ATF strand off your shirt.  That will be fun.  

 So take a shower and bring a change of clothes to those sessions.  You're welcome.  --

Way back in my married days, me and the missus were on a trip and I did a thing which in retrospect was kind of stupid which was invite an escort up to the hotel room while she was out on a shopping excursion.  (I was supposed to be involved with some convention business.)

When the wife got back to the room, the first thing she said was:  Who else has been in this room?  I thought I did a good job at straightening everything out, but the pheromones must have still been lingering.  I said something about banging the maid and she rolled her eyes and forgot about it.

I think this must be a big part of the chemistry that we allude to frequently on here, and I hope it always remains somewhat of a mystery.

And that can be embarrassing if they are in your circle of friends. Not even mentioning the cab driver who thinks you smell like a girl...not that there would be anything wrong with that, but still.

Well, I made the mistake of visiting my son after a session of DATY without a thorough washing. His room mates two little dogs were all over me from the moment I walked in the door, jumping and licking my hands. Got worse when I sat down on the sofa. They jumped on with me and started licking my face all over, despite my best efforts to push them away. Happy, tail wagging, body shaking happy. "Never seen them like this" says my son's roomie. I excused myself to "pee ", washed up, and also kep my visit shorter than planned.  

I know what you mean about enjoying the lingering scent.  Scent memory is instinctual.  As the other posters note, others can smell it too.  That's why I always shower before leaving the provider's incall if I'm in my own hometown.  If I'm traveling alone, I don't if I'm heading back to my own hotel.  Compounding the issue:  I wear a beard.  I can detect her scent in my beard for quite a while, even if I have showered.  Aftershave solves that problem.  If you have a SO, hobby safely and shower afterward.

The lingering scent really isn't or an issue for me. I got a message from few people and reading off of a few things, seems like I am not alone with this attraction to scent.

It makes more lasting and stronger impact than orgasm, or anything else for that matter. Someone outta make like febreeze version of that thing..

And I think it's definitely a pheromone thing. We all have our own "scent" and when we are with someone it is a part of the "atmosphere" created. But when you're with someone you really click with it is much more lasting and powerful, it's almost as if it gets embedded in your DNA

Now with the wonderful lady I see,  after the first time I saw her I would wake up at 4 in the morning and "feel" her scent,  it was so powerful I couldn't get her out of my mind and I had to call her and go back that same week..... and I've been going back ever since.

Now after seeing her for more than three years I can still wake up in the middle of the night and "feel" her scent. I can "feel" the atmosphere the second I enter her door and it only becomes stronger as we become entangled and her scent lingers with me long after I leave her arms.

Yeah I just chalk it up good ol' pheromones. When that "special" chemistry clicks they just get permanently embedded in your DNA. It's hard to explain because it just there, you can't pinpoint it but it is very real.

....I have 2 little Bichons in my home.  Recently I had a favorite at my house for an extended date and when she was gathering her things to leave, there was a pair of panties missing. Sure enough, one of my dogs, being attracted to this woman's unique scent, had hidden her panties.  We both had a good laugh, so your story....completely believable.

I also love the scent of a woman and since I don't have an SO, I enjoy the afterglow of a heated tryst without fear of discovery.

Yes the excitement carries overnight into the morning. And combined with the afterglow, it really makes a powerful impression. I agree with you that the whole thing is a "feel" not just smell through your noise. Abstract to describe, but I think we are on the same page here.

I have a hobby shaving kit that I always bring with me -- incall or outcall.  Included in this kit is a bar of the exact same soap that I use at home.  This way I smell as close as possible as I did when I left the house.  I do this same thing in-town and while on the road.
