As a woman, i must admit that i love wearing perfume. It makes me feel feminine and sweet, and although i have never had any complaints about my perfume, I always wonder if my wearing it makes the guys that i see feel uncomfortable. I assume that they are either returning home, or work and i suppose they could feel slightly uneasy about smelling like Victoria's secret heavenly angels perfume. I have tried going without it, but i definitely don't feel complete until i have dabbed on a bit. So how do you feel about the women you're seeing being artificially scented?

I enjoy the scent but am always worried about my SO with her bloodhound nose.  I would love to be able to savor the sent after but have to try to eliminate any traces of my activities before going home.  So ladies please go light on the scents for us attached gents.

Perfume is fine on a woman.  I personally don't mind because currently I don't have a SO.  But some perfume smells very strong and make me nauseous.  I like perfume that smells fresh, light scented, like coming out of a clean bath.  Those are the best.  Well as least for me it is

even if the gent has a shower before he leaves my place that he will go home to his Missus and get busted because of my perfume.

Shampoos also often leave a wonderful scent.

Just the scent left from a shower just before out getting together is sexy enough for me. There are a few scent I like, but don't really add to the experience, and I definitely don't want any scents left on me on my return home.

There was another discussion of this maybe a year ago. Personally, I like the smell of "clean" or maybe just the light scent from a nice soap.

Many people are developing allergies to perfumes and other things in their environment ("sick building syndrome"; the as yet to be officially named "Gentlemen's Club Syndrome"). Perfume is a contributor. And many people (women AND men) overdo it with their colognes and scents. I have not set foot in a club for several years because of the perfumes.

Some providers had commented in the old thread that clients sometimes show up with scents and deodorants and add ons that make them sick, either by odor or taste. (I had used some alcohol based spray powder after showering at the gym, got to my appointment where I would normally shower again but there was an initial LE check. Her reaction during the LE check was sort of "Ptui. What's that?!?")

Parties also need to be careful using scented body lotions or other things during a session. Once again, it's not just the scent but possible allergies to too many weird ingredients. And, of course, never use OIL based lotions, only use water based "lube" lotions. I once got a surprise peppermint oil treatment that I referred to as falling in to "A Burning Ring of Fire" (she went down, down, down and the flames went higher, and it burns, burns, burns, the ring of fire, the ring of fire). Had to take an emergency shower during that session!

It's not just an SO that might can notice a scent. Returning to work, a meeting or even a social outing with friends can raise an eyebrow AND a nostril. "Hay man, where have you been? You smell like ... Oh."

"I cut through the perfume department at Macy's" excuse doesn't work more than once or twice and is really suspicious at 1 AM, even when they're open late for the holidays.

So I vote against perfumes and scents in general but leave it to something to work out with individuals who will hopefully tell you their preferences and come back to see you, and smell you, again.

I love the experience of light fragrance, but worry about carrying that home.  Bottom line - safety is best.

I'm with Stan.  I hate overpoweringly sweet perfumes; they make me want to gag.  That goes for gels and lubes, too.  I was with a gal the other night who kept squirting strawberry- and chocolate-flavored lube on herself.  It was hot to watch but not to taste.  True pussy-lovers want to worship a nice, clean one but not a pussy that tastes like a candy bar...or anything other than a pussy.

And it's not just the perfume that needs showering off.  If I go home unshowered I can detect the lady's sweet natural aroma on my own face for hours.  I really enjoy driving home, playing some great music and reliving the action in "XXX Smell-O-Vision." Also, one of my 3 dogs is apparantly not a Siberian Husky but a North American Pussy Hound.  He goes crazy whenever I come home from a date, his nose glued to my pant leg.  This only happens after a date.  It still amazes me.  Tonight he gets a chance to go 7 for 7.

to scents or perfumes they let us know at booking time. I'd be curious to know what is the percentage in the general population of people who suffer from that. My GP is one of them and reminds people when booking my appointments. While it's true that some people have poor judgment when it comes to pick a perfume or cologne, most are very appropriate. I really like when a man has a nice scent; it adds to his mojo.

Perhaps a hint of perfume, but too many women overdo it. I had a girlfriend a few years back who doused herself in a particular perfume to cover the smell of the cigs, and even ten years later if I encounter a woman wearing that scent, it makes me want to puke. Yep- that relationship ended badly...

I have an allergy to some perfumes. One reaction to an allergen for me is an asthma attack. It ruins any chance of me getting happy also even if I only start sneezing it will ruin the session. Please leave it off.

I'll just scrub down in the shower afterward if I have to be discrete.  If I don't have to be discrete, I'll wear the scent with me when I leave so I can languish in it for the hours that follow.  Oh yeah...

I prefer my clients not use fragrances either for the same reason: they make me sneeze, too. Try playing with a client when you look like you're crying or when a sneeze builds while you're giving them a BJ or what have you. It isn't pretty!

What is GP? General Practitioner, your doctor? ... when booking HIS/HER appointments? Or he/her specifically reminds you not to wear perfume to your doctor visits? What is "GP" that books your appointments?

Anyway, that doctor stuff reminded me of another discussion here. These days many people are on medications of all sorts, all the time. Although not rubbed directly on the skin, small amounts of oral or injected medications can come out in sweat glands, pores and ejaculate. Someone told a story here of being allergic to penicillin, her customer was taking penicillin and after the old CIMNQNS she had an allergic reaction ... but everything turned out OK.

I guess it's best to be informed and open about these things.

Not all of us have that luxury (the time, the place, the convenience, the change of clothes). Some of us have to get right back to work, to a meeting or some other social event.

I've got to agree with mrfisher about shampoo, though. I'm partial to the fruity ones, myself. Mango?

Anything more strongly scented than a body wash I can't use. I don't even use many scented lotions unless the fragrance is very light. Likewise, I prefer a gentleman doesn't smell of anything more than a shower.

I always feel like Al Pacino (Scent of a Woman) when a woman wears a perfume well...it just makes her all the more beautiful.  I feel sad for those sad sacks who are allergic or prefer unscented -- just don't know what they're missing out on.  It's the amuse bouche when you walk in the door.

I feel a woman is enhanced by her perfume, and her femininity is only accentuated by her lovely scent.  Not every perfume is made for each woman, and you have to find the right scent to match your natural pheromones, but when you find it...perfection.

Hey, my first college black-out drunk was on cheap bourbon.  That was in 1965 and i still can't smell bouron without wanting to puke!
