Given that sex with providers means safe sex (at least for most of us).  What kind of rubbers do you guys like to use???

I know often a provider may have one, but I personally feel safer if it's my rubber.  I know it hasn't been left in the sun, it's not expired, it's good, etc.

I have also experimented wiht a polyeurethane condom that is fantastic.  If any of you have not tried it you HAVE to.  I swear to God, it almost feels like the condom has fallen off and you're fucking bare back.  I'm not bullshitting.  I'm not a condom salesman or anything....

Avanti Super thins. They are kind of expensive, but worth it.  I put a little bit of lube inside them, in the tip, then roll it on.  You get a nice amount of movement, what I mean is the condom does not STICK to you like a body suit. IT moves on you at the tip so that you get a lot of sensation.  I have literally been using one and thought "oh shit it broke" and reached down, pulled out, only to see the condom is still in place 100% intact.  I put it back in, and kept going.  I pulled out again moments later just to be srue.  Once I was reassured that this was how it was supposed to feel... away I went and wow.

My buddy said there is another similar condom made called Kimono.  Same material...polyeurethane.  It's a plastic material.

I read on the box that it has not been tested to determine if it is able to block HIV, but it also says that the pores in the polyeurethane are smaller than the pores in latex, leading me to think that they must be ok...

I've used them numerous times, I'm negative.  who knows if the providers I was with were positive or not.  I'm not, the condoms are great.  It feels like you are fucking without one. serious.

I have used many latex condoms and they suck.  no comparison.

what do you guys think???  any avanti fans out there??

ps.. see my other post about would you do it without a rubber.  I say no.  especially because using a condom liek this one is almost as good, so why risk it when the gain in sensation is minimal.  yeah it would be great to drop your goo in a provier... but c'mon.. this is not the "free love" days... we've got shit that kills you....

anyway... whatcha think???

Avanti and Trojan Supra.  Kimono are made of latex, not polyurethane.

In my experience, slightly larger condoms help a lot of guys tolerate them better, and Avanti is on the large side.

Party on!

inSpiral -- it's latex (safer), larger at the head than the body so it moves but stays on, and it's fun for the ladies as well (or so they tell me).

Kimono are narrower than most condoms, so maybe you need a larger size.  Maybe the condom was too old (check expiration date) or had been stored incorrectly (should be kept away from heat).  Maybe things weren't wet enough down there?  Or maybe you're just an ANIMAL who won't be contained!  :-D

My ATF has used  with me "Beyond 7" and also "Trojan Ultra Thin Lubricated" . Both were very much adequate for me. :)

In response to many previous comments in this thread, I offer the following.

Avanti's are made out of polyurethane rather than latex, which means they have two specific advantages. First, they're less "ductile", so any small stimulation on the outside will not create a larger but less direct "bulge" of stimulation on the inside, but instead will be transferred more faithfully to the inside. Second, they transfer heat. You'll be amazed the first time you try them, the way WARMTH is your first experience. I'm thrilled with Avanti's.

Kimono's are latex, but super-thin. I'm not thrilled with them. They come in two sizes: too small, and much too small. I don't understand why the manufacturer would insist on marrying their best material with out of the ordinary sizes. Not that I'm remarkably well-endowed, since Kimono's are the only major brand of condom I've ever experienced that have the wrong dimensions. I've broken several Kimono's. I won't use 'em again. They would be fine if they were normal sized, I think, but they're stretched on so tight that they tear more easily, often around the ring of rolled up latex at the base.

Paradise are another latex super-thin brand that I don't dislike as much. Some women have an attitude about latex, as though it's better -- which it isn't, medically speaking -- so if a lady refuses the Avanti then the Paradise is my fallback. But for me, no matter how thin the latex is, there's that issue of "ductility" (I don't know what the heck to call it) that I alluded to above -- the material stretches, thus "dispersing" a narrow focused poke from without into a wide generalized poke within. There are also Okamoto Crown Skinless Skins, another super-thin latex brand, that I haven't tried. For stimulation alone, you can't beat an Avanti.

For blowjobs, consider providing a flavored condom. I know, it seems silly, and the flavors certainly aren't great (sure, I've tried 'em, wouldn't you?). But latex covered with nonoxynol nine tastes worse than plain latex, which in turn tastes worse than latex masqued with some kind of esther with an FDA food coloring. It's fun, too. "Mmm, orange lollipop!"

I've seen pictures of "asymmetrical" condoms that deliberately leave a bulge of latex on one side of the penis, thus allowing for pre-planned looseness. I could imagine that would be a good sensation, especially if you put some lube on inside the condom, but I haven't tried them.

In order to get these condoms, I've ordered nearly all of them over the web. The prices are infinitely better, and generally shipping is more than offset by price difference. Condom Express ( http://www.condomexpress.com/ ) is my favorite. Their selection is a little smaller than others, but their prices are the best, and the one customer service issue I had with them (got the order slightly wrong) they fixed IMMEDIATELY and gave me lots of money back, more really than I deserved. There's also Condom Mania ( http://www.condomania.com/ ) which has lots of novelties, and a better database of descriptions and reviews, but which has slightly higher prices.

Those little latex medical thingies that fit snugly on a finger might be just your size.  Not sure what they're normally used for... probably don't want to know, either.

With the cool weather we're having, I guess mosquito season is over.  Sorry.
