Does it take a special mindset to become a provider--especially an indie?
Is the motivation money? Independence? All those adoring fans? Survival?

I also can't help wondering what the average duration of a career is?
Does it take special attributes to remain active for more than a few years?

Have any of the guys ever thought about what it would be like if the roles were reversed and YOU were a provider--whose responsibility it was to service all clients, irregardless of appearance?  Could you do it?
I've thought about it--I couldn't do it.

I don't think I would have the fortitude (no pun intended) to do this work.  I think providers are much more forgiving of body types than I am, and I think it has to do with a more-honed talent of self-discipline in this matter than I have.

I think the most successful Providers purely love what they do. I believe I make a difference, that's important. As far as the appearance thing, do you mean neatness,looks...or what..?? As a nudist, someone once said to me "I couldn't be a nudist, there are just some people I don't want to see naked..!!!"  Well honestly, there is no one I don't want to see naked. The differences in us are what I find fascinating..!!! Besides, this outward layer is just stuff. Big peosilkysplaygroundple, little people, big tits, little tits, big dicks, little.....well you get the idea..unless your a shallow bigot who cares...?? I know there are some providers that feel the focus is money. Hopefully the shallow clients will find them...they deserve each other.

and maturity gives a better understanding what us 'older gentlemen' seem to want.

Just going with the flow and enjoying each person as a fun adventure I think makes it much more enjoyable for me  For myself, I have many fond memories I will look back on someday
