Let's hope this year that once someone posts a thread on a particular subject regardless of it's content that we can discontinue allowing people to come in and FLAME for no reason. Or, some personal reason.
The top instructions on the boards describe the expected behavior of the participants, yet they always seem to be soiled by someone who has something personal going on with the Poster. Then the human reaction is to defend and the thread goes on and on with absolute nonsense unrelated to the original post.
LET THERE BE LIGHT AT THE END OF THE TUNNEL, and let's see this coming year if we can help the newbies enjoy the hobby, protect our lovely ladies, tell a few great jokes, share links that are so funny you have to blow snot all over the place, and generally enjoy and support this forum.

It is going to happen no matter what - why care? Actually, sometimes it is nice to see and shakes thinks up a bit - and many a post is aimed at the old timers as well as newbies - no bias there. If Uncle Sam said start the draft again, and you were picked first, would you just lie down and get f'd without some response? I hope not.
Sure it's gonna happen, but there is a point where someone makes a point that it important to the community at large and it's counter productive for flames to appear related to a safety or heath issue.

My thought here was to give us all something to think about when we are involving ourselves in improving the hobby, not that the flamers are are all that important. As a matter of fact, flamers truly show their colors anyway and if we cannot see them for what they are then it's us with the problem.
