My girlfriend is considering getting breast enhancement and I'm wondering if anyone can give me some advice.  Is there any health risk involved.  Also, we're planning to have kids and she wants to be able to breast feed them.  Will she be able to and what restrictions would she have once she has her implants.  Thanks and your advice and knowledge is greatly appreciated.

but I have two sisters who have. One never developed breasts at all and is a small person, so she had small implants and she has had nothing but problems to include health problems, and has had them redone several times. She's uncomfortable, they have hardened, they squish (leak) and she's ready to just have her breasts removed.
The other sister was a AA, but a larger woman and it looked very unproportioned. She had hers done years ago, loves them and has no problems.

Whenever you put something foreign in the body, you will have some sort of health-related effects. The argument is on the unseen health problems that are slow and subtle such as any of the auto-immune illnesses that we 'accept' in our society as 'inevitable' particularly with 'age' such as arthritis.

Your doctor will be able to answer your questions, just as some of the ladies here can, but be prepared for an equal number of recommendations in both the 'under' the muscle, and 'over' the muscle argument.

I would look at the ladies and see which ones have the best, most natural looking results, and there are a few here.
I could give you recommendations for San Diego only.

I have breast implants (11 years old). I have zero nerve damage or scaring and by the looks of the colostrum comming in...I can breast-feed also. Dr. Shamoun in Newport Beach did mine and has done work for several friends of mine as well.

When you consult the surgeon of your choice, he/she will go over the risks involved with the procedure.

I have them, 4 years and am very happy, no problems, no pain, no issues. Used a top bh plastic surgeon who is very well known and commands top dollar. The goal was to look natural and very soft and bouncy. You get what you pay for though. I've seen jobs under 3 grand and they are hard as rocks with terrible scars. I paid 6 which is on the high side. Believe it or not, I got the referral from an adult star who is a transexual and has an amazing body.

But looking back, I probably got them for the wrong reasons. I kept getting knocked because I had kids and didn't have the perfect body and I was working out a lot and getting frustated because I still couldn't get the results I wanted.

They didn't change my self esteem or make me any more confident. Changing your body might change public perception but it doesn't change the person you are inside.

But I did become more aware of how much free shit or % off you can get in life by wearing tight shirts with heaving cleavage. If you want free shit, go blonder, get big boobs and act stupid. Then take the free shit and go home and read.

I recall that i chastised you then about maring your beautiful bod- although you are right the pics I have seen are great and very real.

Talk to the doctor about her breast self exams.  Depending upon the woman and the type/position of the implants it can affect how good an examination she can give herself.  If she has other risk factors (family history), this could be a consideration.

Also, afterwards it can affect mamogram readings, again depending.

Only risk for him, his new purchase may attract lots of new admirers, and if by chance the girlfriend and he go their  separate ways, he won't be able to take them back.
