I use AOL as my brouser.  When I close AOL it is set to automatically erase the history trail qhich is good.  I noticed that Internet Explorer also keeps the same history trail which was kind of a shock.  I can't figure out how to set it so it does not keep the same history trail.  Does anyone know how to set Internet Explorer so that it doesn't save the history trail?  Any help would be much appreciated.

Go to 'Tools'->'Internet Options'->'Delete Files'->'Clear History'.  A program like Window Washer will also erase your tracks.  I don't know about setting it so it automatically erases tracks, but it's an easy process anyways.

1) Go to 'Tools'->'Internet Options', change 'Days to keep pages in history' to 0 (default is 20)

2) Go to 'Advanced' tab (top right corner) on the same options window, scroll down to 'Security' options, check the box next to 'Empty Temporary Internet Files folder when browser is closed'.

Thats as much one can do with IE 6. I recommend Firefox too.
