Don't be discouraged. You were a victim of the odds. Yes, for most it is all about the money, but let's face it... it is a business.

What you need to find is a provider that has an intense pride in their work. They are hard to find, because they have established a fiercely loyal clientele, and don't need to advertise. Keep digging, use your available resources, and you will find yours.

I searched and researched to find the woman to whom to give my escort cherry. (Thanks to TER it wasn't Austin. How "foolish" would that have been?)
I found her. IMHO she was a vision. When we met, she was more beautiful than her pictures. I was ready, Johnson was not. Abject humiliation are the only words I have to describe my state. She offered me a "rain check"--Extremely beautiful and a kind heart--I was hooked.
A second encounter was planned. The "rain check" couldn't be redeemed due to a financial situation. I paid her regular rate; and with some help from a "lil viagra", my cherry was gone. It only took a half an hour. She was out the door, but not before offering me a regular client discount rate for future visits if I would commit to regular dates and times. I did.
The third date, she blew me off-car trouble. The fog started to lift.
Fourth date, she blew me off-car trouble. I can see clearly now the rain has gone--- IT'S ALL ABOUT THE MONEY!!!
OK new guys, here's what I've got so far:
1)I brought too much emotional baggage to the table.
2)I need to figure out why her particular look knocked me off my feet.
3)Girls lie.
Off to a corner to lick my wounds.

Albeit you would have ALREADY lost the money.

BTW, I would modify your list of rules for you to keep in mind for your next encounter -  in declining order of priority:

1) Girls Lie  

2) You brought too much emotional baggage to the table

3) Girls Lie  (but so do clients)

4) Don't worry, just find someone else who's look you like but check TER for good reviews before seeing her

5) Girls Lie  (but so do clients, so don't sweat it - assuming you did your homework with respect to #4)

Rule #6)  There is NO Rule #6   (with thanks from Monty Python)

I'm a hard worker trying to get by and the girls seem to think I'm really nice.  I'm not ashamed to cry poor and work out discount rates or go for a half hour session which almost always lasts over an hour.  My secret is to be genuine and not try to impress the girls with great success, money, other women...  The girls think (know) we are all losers anyway and a little "honesty" can go a long way and lead to a bit more intimacy.  You can even get the girls to open up and become vulnerable to charm.

Now the truth.  I'm a cheap bastard who likes to get the most for his money and not ever get one put over on me.

The rules are:

1.  Cry poor and negotiate.
2.  If it's not the girl in the picture leave or send her home.
3.  Always check her reviews and look for a weakness.
