When looking at a providers reviews for selection purposes, is the performance more, less or the same in importance as the attractiveness rating?

Where is the overall emphasis for you, the potential client?

The whole package is important --looks, performance, and also the photos and organization of her website...you look terrific by the way.

While attractiveness certainly plays a role, performance will always be the deciding factor. And by performance, I am speaking of both the mental and physical stimulation.

Contrary to the thread a few down, I think that the vast majority of providers are attractive (and even more so when I am alone in a hotel room with one.) So I really don't pay a lot of attention to what other fellows say about appearance.

Performance is the key for me, but it is performance of a slightly different kind that I really look for. When multiple reviewers stumble all over themselves trying to describe how the lady made them feel, that is an indication of a very special provider.

I look at the performance numbers.  But I also try to read the reviews as well, to gauge the performance by what is written and not strictly by the number assigned.

If the lady has an ad with a picture, I probably can make my own judgement.  In my mind the looks rating is a distance second in importance.

Her profile is most important to me ... her do's and don'ts. then rates .. and a  review of her website.  Rating of appearance and performance leads to YMMV ... and most numbers are always inflated to lean towards the provider. MHO and .02

Definitely agree that it's the whole "gestalt."  My interest usually ends up being piqued in one of two ways...  Either by seeing pictures or by reading something they've written, usually on TER.  But once the hook has been set, it's a truly holistic formula that takes everything in in a way I can't really describe or prioritize...  What kinds of pictures have they chosen to show on their site?  What do their reviews say?  What do they say about themselves on their sites, and how do they say it?  If they post on TER or we've exchanged e-mail, what does their writing style reveal about their personality?

One thing I never, ever do, honestly--look at the numbers in TER reviews for appearance or performance.  I know some guys traveling to another city start with a numerical search, but I go about it quite differently.

if you look at the distribution of PERFORMANCE scores you'll notice that they are all over the map (so to speak) meaning that men actually do distinguish between different levels of "service" (good vs. bad)

whereas the same distribution for APPEARANCE scores is much more "unimodal" meaning that our measure of attractiveness is less discerning (it's harder to make judgements, not to mention that some strange psychological factors are at work)

I don't pay any attention to appearance ratings.  I look at the pictures.  If the reviews are good and the pictures look good, then I'm there.  The problem with that is some providers use photoshop and some reviews are fake.

So if I am not attracted to the escort game over right there. However, no matter how attractive she is I would only pick her if she has reviews at least in the 7 - 8 range. So both I guess both are equally important to me. In addition I and I am quite sure the majority of other hobbiests have an upper limit on price, for me this is 3$$ and I simply never go above it.
