I give. I have seen this for 3 days now. But some are active providers, with active ads and websites, no longer attached to their profiles. What gives?

I have been seeing that now also. In my provider reviews, 2 of which I know are retired, their profiles used to say retired now they say classic. I have know clue why.

which they consider classic.  There has been a huge controversy over this issue for 2 days on the General board as to whether or not it's ethical... oh & just wait... 'til a deceased Provider's ad or Hobbyist's review pops up!  Definitely a shit-storm to follow...

It appears to be the profiles of providers who have retired, deceased, or otherwise been delisted for some reason.  

I see that TER has removed the ad links and contact information from the "Classic Profiles".  That may help a provider who has left the hobby and wanted to distance herself from her review history by being delisted.  

I'm not sure what TER is hoping to achieve by reviving these profiles.

Earlier this evening, I accessed reviews to ladies I knew that had died, been banned from TER, or had retired and had themselves delisted that had been previously inaccessible,  Not any longer.

FWIW, I googled the stage names of two of them, and no link to their now resurrected TER profile emerged on the first few pages.  Perhaps this never could be googled in the first place.

As a hobbyist, this new search feature is of limited value at best.  As for ladies that have or may consider retiring at some point that prefer to be delisted, I could see this being a real issue with many.  As for allowing access to banned providers reviews, that runs counter to the main negative aspect of being banned in the first place...

Since we've not had word from TER about this yet, a lot is open to question on the subject.

The "Classic Profiles" MAY wind up showing up in Google searches IF they get indexed by Google's spiders.  The fact that the profiles don't show up yet on searches could be just from them being so new and that Google hasn't found them yet.  

I think these developments could cause a lot of problems for some providers.

K, I've watched, as per your suggestion, & I've got to say, I'm not all that impressed.  Your assumption about my assumption is just that, an assumption, as I'm only just now assuming you didn't really read what I said before being so eager to slur your attack.  Though the efforts would clearly be anti-problem-child-like in behavior, if you go back & re-read my post reply, perhaps your perception could be a little closer to reality this time, & worry not; I won't tell.  To reiterate, I had merely stated factual info:   that the topic had been a huge discussion on the general board.  I was in no way attempting a guess at something I know so little about, unlike yourself here.  And if you can focus long enough to click on over to the gen board, you won't have to dig deep to find the two threads which serve as my validating premises.  So just exactly how long does one stir a steaming concoction pile before they create bullshit?   I appreciate the offer, but I'm not into grudge fucking or make-up sex, if you don't mind.  Maybe you never knew who I was before b/c I was never talking to you.  But you caught my eye & I'm talking to you now, so if I'm expected to just let a provoking resident alcoholic slide for being rude to someone he's never even met, then I put on my rain-boots b/c it's getting deep quick, & I apologize & say, "have another drink, on me!"  But don't expect me to toast to a belligerent asshole.  Are we cool now?
