I use myspace for my teleseminar business and have noticed providers on there.

My question to you is :

Would you approach them as clients or as someone just browsing for friends ?

I've presently got 3 on my friends page, 2 using their professional name, and one using her given name.  Since the last one doesn't mention her profession, I think it would be rude to contact her there for something hobby related.

As a provider I would not advertise on a site that children use. We have TER and other sites. Why push an adult industry into a place it is obviously not wanted?

It is just bringing unnecessary attention to the hobby.

A quick glance through the user agreement will explain that nudity is not allowed in any way. There is also an ethics clause.

Leave the site to the kids  Just my .02

I completely agree. MySpace is no place for provider ads. Too many kids surfing that site.

I hear that Joe Camel is still looking for work.

I think it all depends. Some are on there for business although there are more adult themed "MySpace" sites for that. If that is the case go for it.

If its a profile not associated with her lifestyle (ie. just a place to get together with friends/family)then approach with caution. I would contact her off MySpace (website, telephone, etc) but if you must don't out her thru a comment or anything. Email instead and mention she looks like someone you know on another message board/site etc. Discretion is always a must! And see where it goes from there.

Good luck!

MySpace also has quite a few fake profiles.  Anyone can create a profile claiming to be whomever they want, and it's easy to get pictures to post of providers off their websites.  Even if there is a link to the provider's website, you can't be sure it's their real MySpace profile or if they even have one.  Best to contact the lady through her website.
