I am curious because I personally love to read erotic stories and also enjoy porn to the fullest. When I read a review about myself it is really erotic and makes me relive the moment. I am not sure if all providers feel this way? I think of a review as a movie clip and I am the main character.
I am wondering how my fellow providers feel about reading reviews about themselves.

I would really like to know if you are reviewed respectfully (i.e., not excessive graphic details) and it was a "good" review (fairly high numbers or better), how do you feel about reviews?  Do you enjoy reading them (like Mara)?  Do you look at them as "part of the business" and keep an eye on them to make sure they reflect well on you?  Are you indifferent to them?  Would you rather details weren't posted?  Or do you hate them and find them demeaning?

This subject is actually something that is very topically important to me, so any posts from the ladies would be appreciated.

I don't like to read mine.  I feel embarassed (even though
my review scores are generally high) and as I read along
I can feel my face becoming redder and hotter.
I have been occasionally surprised in finding that a
client did not like me as much as I thought he did.
Mostly, it just all sounds so nasty.  I don't really like
the idea that everyone knows everything about me.
Although, I love ter and think its great so that guys
don't get ripped off, they know what to expect and
we get clients from it.

I very much enjoy reading reviews, not so much mine, then the ones the gentlemen I get to know either personally or though chat.

I can read through the review you wrote and get a feel of what it is you like or dislike when seeing a provider.  

I can also give me insight on what you are like, and a feel of how are time together will be.

I agree! TER is necessary but can be embarrasing about revealing intimacies that are very personal and private. It can tend to trivialize encounters that are meaningful to both parties. Like everything else in life it is a necessary compromise which, I believe can be just as effective by showing some restraint and modesty in written reviews. Just my thoughts!

What I enjoy most is having them submitted from gents all over the country because i'm a touring escort. Since the submission form is so detailed, i'm always touched when someone takes the time to submit one.  I feel it's their way of letting me know they enjoyed my company. I'm only bothered when someone expresses something I don't do in a negative tone, it sometimes stings a little.

     I cringe before reading my reviews, but I still do.  I have met the most interesting men because of TER and don't mind being graded, I try real hard to please the teacher.
    I love reading other providers reviews and feel better that even the best providers can "talk alot" - a thing most women like to do to connect with men.
 
   And the constant reviews just shows our economy is not doing so bad.....

I'm usually very flattered and very pleased if the reviewer has had a really good time.  It's always great when I've had a date that I've greatly enjoyed and I've really liked the client to read that he felt the same.  It's gratifying to know that not only have I done what I'm paid to do but that I've done it well

It was like really good erotic fiction most of the time. I found the most fascinating part was reading what my gents came away with after seeing me. I can honestly say that there were very few and far between dates where I didn't have a good time, and those gents never posted a review. The couple of pages i got were generally high scores, but even those rated low were a great read.

I never took the scoring too personally. One guy said I was the ultimate GFE and I would see me again in a heart beat and gave me a 6/7. Another said he had a good time but wouldn't see me again cause my breasts were too small (I'm a 44d...lolol) and he gave me a 7/8. I did actually get to be the first 9/10 for a gent with some 50 odd reviews at that time. I feel special for that one.

But the point is, unless they post something that did not happen it's all in how they percieved their time with you. Guys get pissed off when their ATF's get low scores and it turns into a flame war when it hits the boards. All it means really is that girl is human and just can't please everyone. If I was seeing ladies, I personally would rather see a variance to a certain degree in her ratings rather than 9-10's across the board. The latter seems to mechanical to me, although I know their are exceptions to every rule.

Just look at it as some creative writing and you get to be the starlet, or sometimes the bad girl. Either way, it's all in what the fantasy was and if it was fullfilled. Sometimes it's just not possible.

Good question Mara!!!  I love reading mine.  Not only have they been informative about ways I can improve, by measuring consensus, but it really turns me on and makes me feel like I did a good thing!  The compliments I have recieved on my body has liberated me tremendously in the past year.  Despite my maturity, I am more confident now, because of the compliments I have recieved through reviews, than when I had a flawless 23 year old body. It feels so good to lay back naked, without posing, arms tossed back completely open, feels so sexy.  Some of the things I was most critical of have been turned around for me.  I know this has made encounters nicer for myself as well as my dates.

Jenni, I am glad to see that those reviews turn you on almost as much as you have turned US on!!

OK first off, I agree with Sparkers assesment on Jenni being sexy, but...

I just had an unsual response from a provider that I reviewed a while back. Upon reading their reviews, or maybe it was that someone else read it and told them about it, a provider became angry at me about my review.

I had scored her very high on looks and performance, but I had said a few things that were out of the providers control, but the also truth. Maybe she could have considered them negative, but any intelligent hobbiest would have seen that my experience with the lady wonderful and that I was more than statisfied. That I was actually highly recomending her services.

It got to the point that I felt quite uncomfortable with the whole situation. Frankly it leads me to think that I would be better off not giving any less than perfect reviews, if I can't be honest.

What do all of you think? Ladies how would you respond to something like I described? Guys how would you have handled it?

If you told the truth, as you saw/experienced it, then not to worry. The whole purpose of the review process is to offer other hobbyists some insight as to what they can expect from a provider for better and/or for worse. If the provider did not like your comments, well, that is just tough, as long as your comments are honest and presented in an appropriate manner. Unfortunately, it appears that a lot of the guys are more interested in "pandering" to a provider rather than offering objective and accurate assessments. I would hope that you don't move in that direction.
