I was just curious because I had a new gent email me.
Since he was new and said he couldn't give me a provider reference, I told him I need a work #. He told me he was uncomfortable with that. (Even though I had the home address & #.)
I told him NO. He then wrote back to me and said so-and-so does it where you can prepay the entire session is leiu of screening.

That scared me.  I couldn't do that. I know nothing of the person and they also could be lying.

And then if made me think. So my question is do any providers offer this type of service.? And if so, aren't you worried that they your new client is LE or even worse a complete wacko??

I can't for the life of me see how getting payment up front works as a screening process.   LE can pay up front using cards specially arranged for that purpose.

I am not sure if I like the idea, at all. I get screamish, when the money is given to me upfront, when I meet with a client lol Good for you, for not giving in to his wishes. If a gentleman cannot provide me with either or of what I ask for, then I have no issues in just saying no.

All of us have our screening processes there for good reasons, paying money up front does not mean anything in terms of trying as best we can to make sure the person is not LE or some random psycho!  In fact I would be suspicious of somebody who thought such an offer would get round your screening procedure.

A while back, I asked several of the regulars (guys) for some advice about privacy, screening, safety and etiquette.

I wanted to propose to a provider that for a small fee, we meet in a public place (restaurant, bar, museum, whatever) and chat for a few minutes.  She could check my I.D.s, bus card, whatever, just no electronic or written records.  Also, I had provider refs.  She could make a good character assessment and security check, and we would also develop some chemistry prior to the first appt.

ALL (not most) of the guys advised me that this would not work, so I never proposed it to the lady.  I simply decided not to pursue her.

Besides my information trail paranoia, this provider had a multi-hour minumum and significantly higher fee (and a few but not a lot of reviews).  So part of my concern was risking multiple sessions worth of coin for one that may or may not work out.

Shaye (and other ladies) - would you agree that my idea was "out of bounds"?

I have actually done that before at the request of the man.  I am ok with it if I have the time to give but doubt I could do it for all as my time is usually tight.  It is not "out of bounds" to suggest it .... it's not like you're insulting her.  If she says no she says no.  No harm done.

You meet in public, at a bar.  During which time you show false ID, Falsified work documents and you slip an envelope of marked bills in her purse. Next your Legion of Doom buddys storm up to her at the agreed upon signal and WHAMMO, you've entrapped her.

(Since you're a member of the Legion of Doom, you lie about what she said she was going to do for that amount of cash~~and your recording device is very fuzzy at the most inoportune moments in the conversation for the lady.)

NO, it didn't happen to me, but the scenario was described to me by a friend.

I refuse to meet someone that can't be verified to my comfort level FIRST.  Nothing is foolproof, but ONCE AGAIN,  If you can't trust my discretion, we can't date.

Call me the catastrophic thinker!  AND THANKS to the lady (you know who you are) that let me in on that scenario that DID occur to a lady she knew.

You were right to be scared. It feels wrong. Anyone who is that anxious to skip a routine screening is suspicious. And while I realize that there are certain situations that may make it slightly less or more "right" perhaps we can all discuss these scenarios in PM. Just my 2 cent.

Meeting beforehand is not done in lieu of verification, it was done to see if we clicked.  That's all.  No talk of sex or $$ .... just a regular old date.  I have met a few men (after they had been verified) for lunch to see if we wanted to proceed.  Most times I did proceed, but one time the man was weird and I was glad we met beforehand because I canceled the date right then and there.

depends on where you live and work.

I know of an instance in Las Vegas where a lady accepted a session fee in full thru paypal and then was arrested by the individual on their date. You have to look into the laws where you work, what is allowed, (i.e. entrapment, solicitation laws ect.)


I never saw anyone for any reason in lieu of screening. I understand some gents hesitation and we can thank ladies who are indiscreet and threaten to out gents for that paranoia. But as i always told my gents who were hesitant, my safety was as important as theirs. I never scoffed at screening. We all have far too much to lose.

I'd be concerned about an LE sting. They can always front the money as part of the investigation. I think you were wise to turn him down.

You were right to turn him down since paying the money in advance does not mean that he is not a wacko or LE.  However since screening procedures vary from no screening to an advanced form of the Spanish Inquisition I would not be surprised that one provider out there might accept payment in full in lieu of screening.
