A friend of mine, who knows I participate in this forum, asked me to do some market research for her regarding her possible entry into the escort field.

She is attractive, warm, well-educated, an excellent listener and conversationalist, and has a terrific, toned body.  She has a regular job that she likes, and doesn't need the money, but loves to give and receive sensual pleasure, and is seeking spice in her life.  My reports on my experiences with escorts, along with her recent partners who agree she is an arousing, active, and skilled lover, have led her to consider providing her services professionally.

So, you may ask, why the need for research?  The answer is that she is "older," in the "Over 45" category, though she doesn't look it.  She wonders if there would be enough interest in her services to make it worthwhile.  Of course, she understands that the quality of experience is important, but she's confident she would be well regarded, if given a try.  So, based on my description, what do you think?

My personal opinion (and *personal experience*) is that she would knock most client's socks off, so to speak, but, as I said, I'm a friend, and she would like other opinions.  Both clients and providers are invited to comment.

Personally the age thing is not as issue. Attitude is more important than age. I prefer older providers, not 18 - 21, they are more relaxed with who they are and that attitude extends to the experience.

Being a provider is a difficult job. The better the provider is at her job the tougher it is on her. They have to be at their best every time they are with someone. Our favorite GFEs put a lot of personal effort into each encounter and it can be wearing.

The real question is whether your friend can be as sensual and passionate on demand, over and over again each week. The best ladies limit the number of seesions they do each day and week so they don't burn out.

Your friend sounds great. I think most of us would love to meet her.

it might be useful for her to try to learn some massage skilz too-  I thinmk there might be even more interest there, and she might get to limit her offerings more to her feelings about each client.

Personally-  I prefer woman over 40.

Picasso might have preferred younger women because "their stories are shorter", but thier skills both professionally and socially are nascent, while older ladies are more fun and more appreciative.

She sounds delightful....and my research says there is plenty of room for another foxy 40 plus provider.  But the gents are right.  Age isn't the issue attitude(a pleasant mature enlighten attitude) is what's needed.  The time spent with gents requires us to always be at our best which can be wearing so one must pace theirselves. If her motivation is that she "loves to give and receive sensual pleasure," and doesn't need the money, why doesn't she just pick up guys (that she likes) and have 1-night stands?  Because, escorting is a "business", and one that has many risks and pressures.  Does your friend really realize what she would be getting into?  This isn't something you go in for "fun".

Your points are well-taken, but here's her reply...She feels that the "expectations" in a pick-up situation are unclear, while they are clear(er) for a professional escort.  She gets turned on by giving pleasure (turning men on), but she feels she should get paid for it, and would be worth it.  Her only real question is about what her expectations should be -- would she attract clients enough to make it worthwhile (after all, it is work, and there is risk).

From the responses so far, it would seem that there are plenty of potential clients out there, and that, if she gave good service, she would do well.

Personally, I have truly grown to appreciate the more mature providers. These ladies just seem to have their act together. There also tends to be less conflict with family/kids as they are probably grown. As others have said, the attitude is everything. She has to constantly turn that personality on, which can be difficult. I wish her the best with her decision.

Where does she live.  I like to volunteer as her first experience.  I'm 52 and have a hard time relating to 20 year olds.  You can have great sex with younger girls but I can't have a true GFE with them.  After about the 20th "I'm like", I'm ready to get out of there!

Good luck to your friend.  I can tell you if you're good, you'll be loved and appreciated.  Maybe not in the way you've thought of love before.  But many many "hobbyist" need and want the love.  They just can't handle the mess that always seems to accompany relationships.  It's sounds to me like your friend has a similar attitude.

I was a 'booking agent' previously and one of the most popular ladies was in her mid 40's she had the highest call back rate of all!   Age as you have realized buy other's posts is not an issue, if you love men the rest will take care of itself!  PS A majority of the very top providers in the country are over 30!
