OK I recently took one for the team and I'm about to swallow my pride and report my experience.

First off, what does the group (Providers and Consumers) think qualifies as a "Rip Off"? I want to make sure I am not over reacting here.

Would you go back to the service or provider and share your displeasure first? Maybe come to an arrangement first?

How do I protect myself from retaliation? I'm torn between protecting myself and my fellow consumer. I would want to know about a total disaster before I visited a new lady.

Lastly how many have experienced a disaster and truly reported it?

don't act rash, grab a chair and cool off.  Most times things work out with patience.  After you've cooled off, write a RESPECTFUL email to the provider in question and and try to politely explain your side of things.  I have rarely found a lady who is intransigent and so stubborn that she won't eventually come around and see that coming to an equitable solution is in her best interest as well.  And I've had well known ladies take as long as two weeks to get back into a friendly groove with me.  And I've always ended up being really glad I had patience

But if after a reasonable effort nothing works then blast away.

Anytime you do not get the serivces discussed and paid for ... you've become a "RIP OFF" victim. I have always been amazed that in 3 years there are only 13 rip offs posted for Las Vegas.

If the provider says she allows DATY,DFK's, and 2nd pops and doesn't deliver, but does everything else you STILL are a "RIP OFF" victim and your review should state that, because promises were made and not delivered.

 This would do away with alot of "YMMV" it would also bring the review ratings down a bit and everyone would see a major difference in sub par providers, providers, and really true GFE.

I know this seems harsh, but wake up people, we piss and moan about small dollar items all the time, (ie. fast food, car repairs, cell phone bills, etc.) .. and yet since  this involves another persons FEELINGS hobbies should look the other way. I don't think so, write the review and be HONEST that's all we ask you to do, and never take one for the team.

If the situation doesn't feel right bail before any $$$ exchange takes place... think with what's on your shoulders not with what's between your legs..... my .02

Well, did the lady not show up? I can see that constituting a rip off. Or, did it have to do with the chemistry level between you and her? Then, that would constitute a ymmv. Not all providers and clients will hit it off, entirely, no matter how much you may try to get into it. Like was stated below, cool off first, before you jump in before a game plan. Email the lady in question, and find out exactly what happened. If she stood you up, then you do deserve an explanation! No question about that. But, if it were something more on the lines of you two meeting, and the chemistry just not being there, that constitutes a review with VERY low scores!

You don't really say how you were ripped off, but I dare say she probably pulled the old "Cash-n-Dash". Said she couldn't talk about anything until she got the cash and then once she did she refuses to let you .... whatever!

If it was just a no show, then don't feel like the lone ranger. That happens all the time in this hobby!

I have done a few field tests (TOFTT).  One of them was actually very embarrassing.  Since it is important to alert other members about ROBs and B&Ss, after a day of thinking, I finally told the whole truth in a review.

It was so funny that I was reading some of the latest reviews and found out so many rip-offs lately.  I was actually going to start a thread when I saw this on the discussion board.  All I can say is BEWARE out there,  so many of them lately, luckily, I have been sticking on the reviewed ones out here on TER.  Thanks to all TER members contributing and updating the board and reviews as well.

When I read a thread, I'll sometimes click on the guy's reviews out of curiosity and I was amazed that three different gents that I looked up today had a whole slew of ladies that they had given bottom of the barrel scores in performance to! I mean, once, or twice, yeah...but a half dozen?? And that's hard earned money - which these days is even tighter!

Heck, just in the time it took to write the BAD review/s, he could've done enough research to create a Worthy Wish List!

I fear that they (the agency)have my place of employment information, along with other reference checking materials.

It was not a cash and dash. I paid up front because it was asked of me. We spent two hours doing nothing! She had very little to say, except she was interested on ways that I could help her brothers business.

I went through the check list of things that were in my control:

I was freshly bathed. (less than 15min prior to the date.)

I brought her favorite flowers. (I even brought a vase in case she didnt have one)

Her reviews said she does not like to kiss so I didnt expect it. (But my teeth were brushed and had a mint before walking in)

I was very polite and hinted many times about there not being more going on. I even mentioned sex, but she never even responded.

We never had a lul in the conversation. She asked many questions so It was not my personality.

I have never had any complaints about my looks. I can understand everyone likes different things, but...

Hell I even gave her a hand and foot massage!

 Hobbiest need your info... even though you're paying for her time, hobbiests expect to get "lucky" during that time. I feel like you did take one for the team.

You should post a review under a different alias than the one you used with the agency. They won't know it's you.

After massaging her feet you were not tempted to move your hand up her leg. It could be that she was waitng for you to act like the typical male and take the situation to the next level. Pull down those panties. Go for a little DATY that usually gets the action going.

I say you definitely got ripped off - she should have paid you.  Have you contacted the agency ?  If they do not seem sensitive to your situation then it seems to me you should just cut your losses and let others know via a review (maybe post a message on your regional board).

Oh, and next time see a well reviewed lady or at least someone from an established agency - my 0.02

It sounds like you met with a very passive woman.  Did you try to initiate and she refuse something?  If you did not initiate and she did not initiate, you did not get a rep-off, you just met a provider that was not able handle the situation (or didn't have the skills do do the right thing).  

If you don't like to initiate, have you tried to look for ladies that tend to "take control" of the encounter in ways that you like.  Such ladies exist and some ladies are smart enough to know to initiate things because they know how to read men.  Look for them in the future.

As a single guy not in a situation where I have any fears about revelations being made to an employeer, I still avoid agencies because I don't want to be in anyone's data-base in case the agency gets busted.

But I'm glad your concerns were only that & not that she was some whacko druggie...it'd be potentially far worse if that were the case.

As another has suggested, you could post the review under your TER user-name...I'm assuming the agency doesn't have that info.  And if you're really concerned, change a few details of the encounter to make you less identifiable...don't mention the massage, the flowers, or any details of your conversation.

One also wonders, when every review a guy writes is bad, what sort of attitude/behavior he walks in the room with, particularly if the provider in question tends to get decent reviews from most of her other friends.

Yes, I'm afraid this does happen. I've known several good providers over the years and the honest ones all seem to have the same idea, "How could this happen!" Well there are just as many not-so-honest ones out there and it does. There are girls who feel totally okay with sitting and talking to a guy for $$$ or more per hour. Or worse taking your $$$ and then act insulted when you suggest some action and storming out the door with your $$$ daring you to call the cops.

The most common scam I've run into is a girl who refuses to talk about anything with you until she gets paid and she leads you to beleive that once you take care of business she will take care of you. Once she's got your cash she claims no touching, no nothing but looking.
