Tried to set an appointment with someone who on her website stated she needed 2 provider references. That seems fairly standard.

But in her reply email, she then stated I had to giver her "at least 3 or 4 references". I understand the need for safety but that seems excessive, aside from being inconsistent with her own website instructions. If she had posted a requirement of 4 on her site, I wouldn't have even bothered with her to begin with.

Sometimes only 1 reference is required, often its two. But I've never seen more than 2 asked for before.

What's the most you've seen required, or do any of you ladies here require more than 2 yourself?

I've found it's a lot easier to ask for two additional references than explain why the initial two are of no use to me. The few times I tried to explain why I wouldn't accept a gent’s references only resulted in the gent trying to argue with me. It's a lot less confrontational to just ask for additional references. At least that's my personal experience. I'm sure there are other feasible answers as to why she might be asking for two new references in her email. Perhaps she forgot to update her site with her new screening requirements.

When making first contact I usually provide two references and never mention anything other than I would like to see her sometime..If your original contact had anything written that you wouldn't say to a civvy before your first date,perhaps warning bells went off in her head.
Always save the sex talk or sudued references, until its actually in progress.

And decided to raise the bar a couple of notches for you.

I am constantly asked for references, but only ocassionally do I provide them. Despite what most providers will say here on these boards, most of thme will accept other forms of screening.

Those that insist on knowing my life history before scheduling an appointment, never get the dubious pleasure of meeting me.

I consider the 'ask a stranger who claims to be an escort' or even a proven lady... as a totally ridiculous, unreliable, not to mention WILDLY and offensively indiscrete verification method.

Find a lady who has some life and people saavy.

I like many providers ask for at least 2 from hobbyists . some have never seen a provider so i refer them to roomservice2000, or if hobbyist has seen providers, i ask them to send me their email and name as I do most of my screening online.
