If an escort slashes her rates to really low because she wants to see a lot of guys, why does she always get bashed? Or guys think she's desperate looking for money. Can't she just be slutty and horny and want to have the ringing ringing like crazy. $$$$ is hard for some dudes. $$ is real economical but if a girl charges that you assume she's on drugs or no one wants her.

It all depends on what city your at. and how desperate you be sounding.

Personally, I'd enjoy a beautiful young lady who didn't want as much lucre as some of the other ladies. However, I want a lady who is CLEAN, mature, responsible and way above average in looks and intelligence.
  The attributes for which I look are not inexpensive. They take time, energy and are expensive to acquire. So...

Most of the out of town/state men ask why my rates are so low. Because it's San Diego, and I don't have incall. If I had incall, or traveled..

I prefer rates that are as high as I can afford.  The reason is simple, some hobbyists will be priced out.  While very good providers charge low rates, a lot of ones who bad for me also charge low rates.  I prefer to do research on pricey providers then sort through that population for the ones that I want to engage, while not always satisfied from a performance standpoint, I am never terrified of the person that I am with.  Of course, there are hobbyists who target price ranges that I cannot afford, such is life and so be it.

I for one am delighted to see $$ rates and think no ill of the lady for being so affordable.

I'm not sure what's worse, guys complaining about higher rates or lower rates.  Actually, I've never see any threads bashing a provider for rates that were too low.  I don't know where you arr located, but I'd have to say the reaction to your lower rate change certainly isn't the norm.  In most places, if you provide good service and low rates, your phone will be ringing off the hook.

Personally...Ive been bashed on other boards for my low rates...truth is, #1. I dont have overhead (motel)as I work from my own place. Im lucky in that respect. #2.I can't see asking for outrageous $$..I do this because I ENJOY it and Im talented!! I have a lot of older (55-60y/o) businessmen from the Philly area who request 2 or 3 hr appts. I book one appointment a day 2 maybe 3 days. Aside from the sex being "just what the dr ordered" my company is very much appreciated. I love it..wouldnt have it any other way. Sure...Im no Barbie looking for Ken. There is quite the market for a woman like me..at least in this area!! Reviews aren't what I'm looking for...Im more interested in the joy I bring to these guys. JMHO!!!

I think rates are reflective of the area and economy.

Some of the guys are going to hate me for saying this but I have spent time with a couple of women who should have charged MORE.  And I would have gladly paid it.

How can I put this tactfully? Clients who visit the higher end escorts are generally successful, affluent, and act like gentlemen.(TER clients usually are in this group.) That's the group I feel most comfortable with and I wish to keep it that way.  

I am on the high end in my town and have never had a problem with a client. The worst thing that ever happened to me is one time I was underpaid by $20 (I know, life is tough, LOL.)

On the other hand, there's a girl of my acquaintance who dropped her rates from middle to low last year. She always had decent reviews and I often wondered why she dropped her prices.

Whatever her reason, it didn't turn out well. She said she increased her volume, but not dramatically. Worse, some of the new guys were deliberately underpaying her, stealing some of her things, even counterfeit money, etc. She had to start collecting the money up front and count it in front of them.

Bottom line, she had ended up with a lower class kind of client-- trashy men who didn't have the social graces to behave like gentlemen.

(BTW, she switched back to her previous prices after about 3 months.)

Learning from her experience, if I wanted to increase my business, I would never drop my prices--I'd increase my advertising or perhaps run a short-term special.

I think that you should charge what you want to charge and actually think it is a good thing for a new lady to start with lower rates to attract a solid client base before raising her rates to market rate.  Many hobbyists that have been around for a few years know that there is often not much correlation between price and quality of service or character.  

One of the reasons that you face these attitudes are a direct result of the manner in which your fellow providers market themselves in the chatrooms and on the discussion boards.  I wish that I had a dollar for everytime I have heard a provider in a chatroom or on the discussion board state that the reasons her rates are (X) is because she only sees one client a day or one a week.  She usually implies or states directly how much better that is than seeing a high volume provider which is often defined as anybody that sees a few more clients a month than she does. I also wish that I had a dollar every time a hobbyist makes a comment about some issues that he had with the ladies in general and the response he gets is that he must be seeing those cheap street ho's which is usually defined as anybody charging a rate lower than that lady thinks the going rate should be.  Also some of the ladies imply that a hobbyist has a greater risk of catching a STD by seeing a higher volume provider.  

With all those dollars I could afford to see the lady that charges $24,000 for 2 days.

Because if someone is horney they are not as a rule in this business to get satisfied. When you SLASH your rates you hurt the business very bad and cause other providers who are up-scale to either follow you or rely on regulars OR not make any money. At least keep you rates comparable.
