I cannot tell you how many incidents have been resolved through TER, or how invaluable the reviews are if you excel. I've made so many friends, some who saw me and some who only met me at meet & greets, but only once ever have I been attacked on TER by a psycho, but in this business that's a common occurrence for our inboxes!
Suffice it to say, when I retired I immediately missed the warmth of the TER boards, and look at that now I'm back running an agency.....and back on TER

Back in the day, I had quite a few board guys as clients. I still see a few semi-regularly, and they're not only great people but great clients. Today, my demographic is more havily newbies, low-key clients, and infrequent hobbyists...but that's due to a variety of factors out of my control.
Why I liked seeing board posters: They see us as people, not 'hookers'...no matter what they say on the boards. Some newbies actually don't have that awareness. Board clients are not offended if we consider them 'clients' and they understand (without taking offense or feeling slighted) that this is a 'business'. And, they are actually interested in and informed about our lifestyle! They might even like to talk to us about our experiences (with other clients, I generally have to pretend I NEVER see anyone else and that they are my one and only ATF, lolol). I feel that I can be myself (a hooker) more with board guys than with clients who would be absolutely horrified if they knew my "number".
Here's my take. Yes, OTC was pretty much always taken for granted...but mostly just chatting, and never an unreasonable amount...never to a degree where I felt put upon or taken advantage of. Other than that (and maybe their level of corruptness or experience, depending on how you interpret that) they were just normal clients. Sure, there are definitely assholes who get a grandiose sense of themselves from having 'power' on the boards...thing is, those guys are SO easy to screen out. And even if they don't reveal their handles, they will come across as assholes 99% of the time. I do admit to being fooled once, though.
I charge similarly to you - except that I don't even do 1-hour. So I'm not "buying into bullshit"...I never offered freebies, or even discounts. I was never sorry nor did I ever feel that I was inside of any "box" or pandering to anybody. If they wanted to see me, and I wanted to see them...there was a date. Just like any other client.
Of course, men who don't post on the boards think it's ridiculous...what else is new? I think it's ridiculous that some people collect stamps and get addicted to TV shows (no offense to anybody who does, just stated to illustrate a point). To each his/her own!

It's just a different approach and she knows the types of guys she enjoys interacting with best. There's nothing wrong w/ a person knowing the type of company they want to keep. And although I don't think it's good to generalize all TER posters as the ones on this particular board (b/c they're not all the same - repeat...not all TER posters are the same), if anyone were to take a quick snapshot of the frequent male posters here, they'd think all posters aren't very fond of escorts (and maybe women in general). So if her perception of the posters here offend them, they can always take steps to change that perception, otherwise understand that MANY others perceive the posters here in the same light. Still, it's best not to generalize ever...IMO.

If you play in the "big" leagues you might have and so might many of your brethren. I highly doubt she is as offensive in person to the guy shelling out 6 bigs ones.
Same as a lady not wanting to see Ridgetuckey. If he does not tell her who he is, many ladies might have already seen him. And I am sure he is not as offensive in person either.

It is a long rainy day, and I'm exhausted from a West Coast, via East Coast rendezvous and have decided to take a day off. Better yet??? My female friends who feel no need for EROS or TER to make a living fair far greater than most on this board can imagine. Guys? Give yourself a break... You're not the begin all , or end of the prostitution business.... You r, what Henry Ford offered t the customers of the masses looking for transportation. You are no those looking for a Bugatti, Duisenberg or any of the other fine auto-motives looking for in that era... you are simply looking for a model A at a value. After 9 years, and 600 plus an hour in this business, I find my clients simply utilize TER for their "semi-accurate" review system and nothing more. I have yet to meet with an affluent man on this board that spends endless amounts on pussy who would fathom posting on this board. Furthermore finds laughable those who do. Occasionally, I find myself with one who does post, and the difference between them and those who don't are most obvious....I'm not bashing TER or those who post. I am simply saynng, those who post the most are the most who pay the least, and the "wannabe''s". Being it a rainy Sunday in Atlanta, I felt compelled to share. It's a rainy day, I'm going to thoroughly enjoy my weekend until after the holidays until I revisit men who have yet to continually post on this board. They are too busy making money to afford a 10/10 whore like me.
