obviously, the funny pic suggests that you may have started this thread in jest, but i think for some, it's a serious question.

my answer is that chemistry CAN be cultivated.  i'm always at least a little shy when i am meeting someone for the first time; which i think can stall the process of finding a way to flow together.  but eventually it all falls into place; it takes a little time, patience, and gentle exploration to find your groove with someone, IMO, no matter how good the chemistry is in the end.  thinking of my favorite experience of all time, once we started to kiss, everything flowed into place; but while talking beforehand, i felt terribly shy and so may have been sending some mixed signals.

so, whether or not you were kidding, those are my feelings on the matter!

The only way to handle this is try to avoid it all together.  

First step is becoming more selective and going deeper than photos and reviews for starters.  Not so much that you pigeon hole yourself with one type of lady and or experience, but enough to know what doesn't work for you.

rough dry skin isn't manly. it is simply unpleasant to touch. there is no need to get all Metro-sexual about it. just make a habit of occasionally scrubbing with a luffa or one of those Asian exfoliating scrub cloths. you'll be surprised what it does for your skin! it may even make you feel more human again.
